JKR text:

I see that Stella Creasy is accusing me of leading a pitchfork mob against her, because I opined that she is less likeable and more hypocritical than the wild parakeet she mistook for an escaped pet.

For those who don’t know, Creasy is an elected politician and self-proclaimed ‘old-fashioned feminist’ who is ‘still fighting the patriarchy’. She’s more than once publicly defined herself against me (and my reaction was not to accuse her of leading a mob, even though I was probably averaging a dozen death threats a day at the point when the article below appeared.)

I thought it might be instructive for those of us who don’t share Creasy’s brand of ‘feminism’ to examine her campaigning record, so we can learn to do better.

Creasy wants women admitted to the male-only, exclusive, London-based private members Garrick Club, a change that would benefit rather privileged women like Creasy. Creasy is a mother who wants better accommodations for working mothers, a change that would benefit Creasy. Creasy takes selfies at a men-only Muslim march because that reminds everyone how non-racist she is, which benefits Creasy.

Creasy asserts that ‘trans women are women’, which keeps her in good odour with her party’s most aggressive activists, and benefits Creasy. However, keeping cross-dressing heterosexual men out of nurses’ changing rooms doesn’t benefit Creasy, because Creasy has never had to mop up other people’s piss, blood and vomit at work. Challenging the notion that a male basketball player becomes a girl if he says he is doesn’t benefit Creasy, who has no sporting ambitions. Speaking up against the patriarchy as practised by non-white men doesn’t benefit Creasy, who wants those selfie-opportunities. Criticising an ideological movement that persecutes, harasses and openly threatens women who don’t believe some women have penises wouldn't benefit Creasy, because she's already fully-signed up to self-id, where any man who says he's a woman must be taken at his word.

As the late Gloria Steinem said: ‘“Feminism has never been about getting a job for one woman. It's about making life more fair for women everywhere.’ Creasy the patriarchy-challenger is provably more than happy to cosy up to men and misogynist movements when it suits her public profile and career advancement, no matter the harms those men might be causing less privileged women. By Steinem’s definition, what Stella espouses is not feminism, but Creasyism, and I suggest the emblem for this brave new rights movement should be an indignant parakeet with severely ruffled feathers.

Seeing the stories of people's female relatives being discriminated against I feel I need to mention my lovely late grandmother.

Born in rural Wales in 1922, she became a teaching assistant at the age of 17 and became a primary school teacher. She married late (the war I presume) and had her children in 1956 and 1959 at the age of 34 and 37. She continued to work as a teacher even after having children, taking retirement when she was in her mid to late 50s.

She lived practically her whole life in a small town in Wales. This would probably have been unheard of in a larger town or city.

A woman has died after her husband has let people grape her

I feel sick, we worry about strangers but long term husbands are doing this. It is rare and shocking, i know, but how can women be expected to trust male strangers in public women's single sex spaces when the known men at home can't even be trusted in the "safe" haven of home.

Finally the chatgp noise has gone, im all for discussion and debate, but not fakey intros to infiltrate - spotted him a mile away.

Anyhow, hope you've canx your thai takeaways -those pad thais are dangerously tempting
The faux self-effacement of ‘hey ladies, is it ok if I - a mere man hoping to engage in some mutually educational debate - join you in order to learn from your excellent thoughts on a topic for which I have absolutely no hidden agenda whatsoever?’ had me hitting the “ignore” button after their very first tedious wall of text.

They’re always so obvious as to be visible from space.

I really couldn’t care less if there are some men so desperate to have sex with anyone that they would go with a TIM. If they find them as appealing or even more so than actual real women, then that’s up to them. If married men are straying with them, then they are cheats.

What I care about is women’s rights. The right to single sex spaces and activities, women’s sports being for women, truthful crime reporting and not having “she” and “her” used when describing the violent actions of a man. To not have gender identity ideology forced on me. Feelings and out dated stereotypes do not over rule biological reality for me.

It’s the typical TRA argument isn’t it. TIM who “pass” (and how can you tell from a photo anyway, especially in this day and age of digital alterations of pictures) are as good as us. Better even! I’ve seen so many of them claim this because they dress sexier, do their make up better, surgically enhanced to appeal to the male gaze more. “I’m more woman than you because men look at me!” And that’s what it comes down to. I really don’t care about looks, sex appeal or think some great hulking bloke is more woman than me because he wears stilettos and fishnets and plasters his face in make up and I do none of these things. The male gaze means nothing to me ( in fact I hate it) and I think a lot of women feel the same. Being a woman is not looking a certain way or a race of who gets the most male attention. It’s a biological reality. A fact. We don’t want our hard won rights given away.
Indeed. So bleeping what if a pornified rendition of “femininity” would turn some men on, whilst a woman who doesn’t pass the ‘male gaze’ test wouldn’t?

The dim-witted misogynistic pricks are literally incapable of understanding that ‘do I want to duck that person?’ isn’t the litmus test for ‘they are therefore plausibly female’ 🙄

I'm having a procedure next week (not surgery, that's been postponed due to lack of beds.) In any case, I'm being sedated for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy but if I'm feeling chipper on the 19th I'm going to head into the city wearing my Adult Human Female hoodie.

Fricking Alan Cummings bumping his gums on ITV news again!!! He's directing a play about Liberace and how he never acknowledged that he was gay. Alan Cummings stated that it's now dangerous to be queer and we're going backwards 🤪🤪🤪

I went to see The High Life (Alan Cummings comedy). The first half was spent laughing at the younger generations endless alphabetical additions. But the second half was all about accepting yourself as you are!!! It was actually really funny (I presume that was more to do with the other writer Forbes Mason). But the hypocrisy was incredibly obvious.

Any way as we say in Glasgow, Alan Cummings can go and play tig with the traffic!!! Self absorbed nutjob.

Victoria is a joke, I honestly don't know how you still live in that state. I'm originally from there and the place has gone mad. If any state in Oz is going to go full throttle on trans rights and lack of care of women. It's Vic.
I'm originally from Adelaide which is almost as bad. At least we have a 24 hour KMart here. :)
It's made me more determined to try and get to the steps of Parliament next Saturday.

The younger generation forget just how much we and our mother’s and grandmother’s fought for their rights that they want to throw away in the name of be kind movement
Yes this is true, I think young women* have become very complacent. I was out with a friend a few years ago and on the bus we got talking to these two young female students who were very typical of what I think of as Woke progressives, wearing the strange Woke progressive uniform - shapeless tie dyed dungarees, pastel dyed hair, climate change badges, backpacks with little cuddly toy figures hanging off them (why do people DO that, btw? What does it SIGNIFY other than I infantilise myself and I'm scared to grow up?). Anyway one of them had a big trans badge on her backpack and I was sort of gently pushing back on the ideology, not to persuade her but more to satisfy my own curiousity as to why a presumably intelligent girl had fallen for it. Anyway her whole reasoning was that men and women are basically biologically pretty much the same, with the same personality tendencies, priorities and behaviours, no difference at all, which mean that the sex divide is false per se and that 'we could achieve much more if we all get along'.

we could achieve much more if we all get along is the sort of trite preachiness that belongs in a bad John lennon song and I was a bit shocked that a) her politics was so basic and so ignorant of the human condition and b) that she was so divorced from material reality

*correcting to say middle class girls because there is absolutely a class divide in this which isn't talked about enough. Women and girls from my own class who do material women jobs like cleaning up other people's tit, and who are more likely to meet male psychos (you meet more nutters and abusers when you're poor for many socioeconomic and housing reasons) don't think this way. I hope.

BBC has dropped drag race 👍

BBC News - BBC drops Drag Race UK after eight series
I used to like Drag Race, the first 3 series used to be on Netflix and it was all very low budget, gritty, all the queens witching and undermining each other, it was high grotesque camp by design and it was great to slap on in the background while I did housework. Whatever one thinks about drag per se, it does have its roots in genuine organic gay ballroom scene and the early series were evocative of that.

Then it got infected by Wokeism and became less about witching and destroying each other and more about 'authenticity' and 'acceptance' and 'true love', they had trans contestants and it just became a soppy queer version of X Factor or whatever. And it was tit and that's why people stopped watching.

I see Drag Race as a good example of how Corporate Queer TQ+++ destroys and ruins genuine gay culture.
