The BBC piece, Florin somebody? I didn't even have the sound on and my first thought was 'That's a woman, despite the facial hair.'
Well if it was a BBC piece, the chances of a trans identified person being involved rises by about 1000%

I just don’t get how various denominations of the church are so captured, or why they even have to comment at all. It’s an ideology that’s been around for less than 20 years yet all these centuries old institutions are falling over themselves to demonstrate their enthrall to it.

Of course the bloody church should be welcoming for everyone and nobody is telling them to exclude trans people. WTF is this stupid post about then?

IMO Christianity is totally over because if we actually followed what it says then gay people wouldn't be welcomed to start with.
My view is that you either follow a religion or you don't. You don't get to cheery pick bits you agree with or not.
Obviously followers of Islam do not do this, they stick to their dogma.

But also: "people are who they say they are."
What?!? Well which is it? Is everybody who says they are trans, trans? Or do some people pretend to be trans to access vulnerable women? How can we tell whether Juniper is just lovely trans lady or if she's actually Jim who just wants to get into women's spaces?

I don't really have much to say on the toilet debate but in my early 20s, I went to gran carnaria and I was watching a really good drag act. I was sitting on the aisle seat and the queens were walking up and down doing their number. One was singing a made up ditty sort of song and randomly reached out and grabbed my boob. My friend burst out laughing, however I was shocked and mortified. I have no problems with any of the gender, or sensuality pronouns but I guess like everyone they can be inappropriate when they want.

I’m sorry you were sexually assaulted and that this random male ‘performer’ used ‘drag’ as a cover for his perversions. I don’t expect you were the first or last woman to be a victim of his behaviour. It must have been extremely upsetting for you, especially as your friend was laughing 🙁.

I'm in a mood and just filled out my census form, that we will get fined for not completing, in a democratic country, same if we don't vote 😡.
I'm sure that some of the questions help guide the government, but I object to it being compulsory.
Anyway, didn't take me long to get to the gender identity question. I was going to leave it blank but decided to tick "other" and type in "duck self ID".
Childish? Probably.
Satisfying? Yes! 🤷‍♀️

I didn't do the census last time and probably won't do it this time either. Nothing happened! Nobody fined me or caught up to tell me off.

Facebook has decided I need to keep seeing the Saccone Joly family do their 'outfit of the day' reels, including the boy they have groomed to present as a girl.

Makes me feel sick and angry. All those kids are being used for social media, and the kid who has been 'transed' is going to have a messed up life 😥 I have selected the option to not see this page on my feed again but I am sure they will crop up again.

I never searched for them or watched rhem but my feed had been pushing them this week. Them, plus Katie Price's videos of Harvey half naked all the time. I don't want these videos!!

Edited for terrible typos, I cannot type properly on my phone keyboard 🙈

Can't find a non paywalled article on the subject.

However, it has been reported the new Labour Mayor for Manchester, Bev Craig, has refused to commit to the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces.

What is it with Politicians and elected officials refusing to follow the law and thinking this is acceptable behaviour.

Paywalled article..

And we call on public bodies to pursue a way forward that upholds the dignity of all, rather than treating the protection of some rights as justification for eroding others

"Some rights" = women's rights to safety, privacy and dignity.

"eroding others [rights]" - what does this even mean? Men don't have the right to invade women's spaces. Men's rights haven't been eroded.

Sounds to me as if women aren't welcome at this "inclusive" Church.

But wait.
What's this?

The Church is excluding some people who might want to get married on their premises!

What about their rights??

Segregation!!

Bigots!!

I did a survey the other week and checked other and stated that I was a biological female, there are only 2 sexes etc, it should be sex and not gender they are requesting etc. Further on in the survey it asked about ethnicity and age etc, and every time I ticked other or self describe and asked whether they wanted a factual answer or whether they wanted what age etc I identified as etc. That was quite satisfying too. I think we need to do this every time.

I just can't believe the arrogance of some of these elected officials.

Arrogance extending to believing the law is wrong, and that they and others do not have to follow laws they don't like, nor agree with.

Of course, laws that they do believe are 'correct', we are all expected to follow without question.

So the sheer double standards also pisses me right off.

I seriously hope some of these individuals have legal action forthcoming.

Could not care less of public money is at stake. It is now for these individuals to justify why they think wasting public money is beneficial on defending nonsense, falling on their swords as a result.

Thanks for pointing out that this is sexual assault, that would've been my first line if you hadn't got there first. @Onestorytoomany - I'm sorry that your friend thinks it's funny that you were assaulted in full view of everyone. I'm sure this made a horrible situation more confusing and embarrassing that it already was.
Why are men? Just Urgh.
