I’ve never voted Conservative in my life but I’m horrified to learn that poor Ann Widdecomb has been murdered. The likes of Tatchel are an utter disgrace. Imagine rejoicing in the violent death of an elderly woman. Tatchel actually makes my skin crawl, there is something very off about him. The “be kind” mob once again show that they are anything but.

I was thinking yesterday about how AW’s Catholic beliefs are used to vilify her as a despicable person, and it occurred to me that followers of other religions that are similarly anti-same-sex marriage tend not to receive the same castigation. 🤔
We had a pretty good example of that in Scotland when Nicola Sturgeon stood down. There were two candidates in the running - Kate Forbes, a member of the Free Church of Scotland, was utterly vilified on her views about abortion and gay marriage. Humza Yousaf (Muslim) was given a free pass even though he has the same views. The big difference was Forbes answered honestly and Yousaf dodged the questions.

Quote from Susan Smith of FWS from the article about the polycule.
She said: "I think that organisations have allowed some of these people to run amok, while they will have been the first to report anybody at the university who they think are being using the wrong pronouns or saying they shouldn't be in the ladies' toilets. They think anything that thwarts or upsets them is a crime. But they think the most serious, terrible crimes are jokes as long as they're committed against people they don't like."
Thats exactly it isn’t it. Everyone has to tip toe around them not to upset their feelings, but they cannot tolerate anyone who isn’t fawning over them. And that, in their sick minds is the worst of crimes. Anyone, but usually any women who isn’t falling over themselves to say how brave, stunning and absolutely 100% real woman they are is beneath their contempt.

A family just walked past. Dad in jeans and a t shirt, children dressed appropriately for summer and a woman completely covered with only a slit to see out of. She didn’t even look human. It’s abhorrent. He was basically taking his slave out.

Has everyone seen the clip of ‘Elliot’ Page at the Odyssey premiere? Why on earth was she chosen to play Sinon, a Greek warrior and cousin of Odysseus? That’s a rhetorical question, by the way - we know why.
Jesus Christ. She is so tiny and frail looking. Honestly, who is buying this person as a Greek warrior? It’s ridiculous. She doesn’t look like she could defeat a childproof lock, never mind an army of Trojans.

The creative arts need to stop with this pandering.

Just seen this. It’s so true that it would be thoroughly offensive to go around in blackface, claiming to be the most oppressed black person ever, but that’s exactly what the TIM are doing to women.

It was the Guardian - I remember reading it at the time.

Women speak out against gender ideology and they’re cancelled, threatened and accused of being the worst people imaginable, yet this piece of work defends the indefensible and still gets platforms to spout his dangerous and vile opinions. What a world.

Meanwhile ( I’ve posted this on the Womanhood thread) Sky News interviewed a man discussing if Ann Widdecombe had ever had penetrative sex following the announcement of her death. Frankly its got fuck all to do with anyone, and how incredibly disrespectful to reduce a murdered elderly woman to that.
I’m bloody glad I’ve chosen to spend my life with my animals. The more I see, the more I despise the bulk of humanity ( not the wonderful people on this thread of course).

Ladies, I have so many questions. Firstly, why have they given her Brad Pitt’s face? 😭 Secondly, why would men want to read about a woman’s fitness regime? And thirdly, why has she skipped leg day (year)?

When will this insanity end?

You're welcome to stay and discuss why we have the opinions we do, we've had many come through and end up changing their minds.
If you don't feel comfortable here that's also fine, I think there might be a thread somewhere for trans and trans adjacent posters but I have no idea what it's called.
Posts written by Michi on other threads...has "a husband and children and is a practicing muslim" yet is giving the impression of being trans?. Is it strange that as a VIP member and five years of posting she/they(?) have "just found" this thread.

I personally want safe spaces for biological women like myself, adult human females, not 'assigned female at birth' but biological women. These safe spaces are consistently being eroded by an ideology that has been hijacked by a bunch of fetishists who get aroused by their idea of 'womanhood' being nylon wigs, lippie and fake tits. If that offends, I do not care. Sick of this shit. Genuine gender dysphoria is extremely rare and has been gaslit and exploited to further a heinous political agenda. The world and his wife, er, sorry, person with a cervix, needs to wake up.

Wonderful quotes from todays US SC ruling

"Men and boys with gender dysphoria are not women or girls, even if they believe that they are"

"Sex is an immutable “biological” characteristic, it is binary; and “man” and “woman,” “boy” and “girl,” are the terms that correspond to adults and children of each sex. To use language to obscure reality—to show “indifference regarding the truth”— is to lie to the public and cease to treat our fellow citizens “as equal.”

I agreed with her on virtually nothing politically, but I thought she was a person with integrity who wasn’t afraid to laugh at herself.
Exactly. And she worked hard for years which is more than can be said for a lot of MPs these days.

Scary that she was murdered, so cruelly. Whether political, random burglary gone wrong or something else, another woman has died at the hands of a man 🤢

An elderly woman not even safe on her own home 😔

I disagreed with 99.9% of Ann Widdecombe's views, but Christ she was a badass, didn't give a fuck what anyone thought and was that rare breed - a conviction politician who didn't say that women can have a penis just to earn brownie points. She also ripped Jonathan Willoughby a new arsehole on CBB and was clearly hugely clever and witty. I keep watching the clip of her attempting to straighten her hair and chuckling. God bless her.

(sorry the times doesn't work with archive any more)

Green Party councillors attended a transgender rights rally where some protesters repeatedly stabbed darts into an effigy of Andy Burnham, The Times can reveal.

The demonstration outside Hackney Town Hall called on the Green-run council to refuse to implement the guidance on single-sex spaces.

Activists were filmed stabbing darts into the head and eye of an effigy of Burnham, the prime minister in waiting, who has backed the Supreme Court’s ruling on the legal definition of sex and the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s (EHRC) guidance on single-sex services.

Leaflets distributed at the rally, seen by The Times, claimed transgender people would face “increased discrimination, more harassment and worse mental health” as a result of the EHRC code and urged campaigners to respond with “non-compliance, trans defiance”
The reason that transgender people might be facing increased ”discrimination” is perhaps because people are waking up to the fact that these poor marginalised delicate little flowers are actually vile misogynistic self obsessed arseholes that anyone with a grain of common sense would avoid like the plague.
