Has Dawn got round to donating to a’trans charity’ any salary she received for the cardinal sin of her appearance in a Harry Potter film yet? No? I’m surprised, given her fervent support.

I was listening to a podcast I generally really like yesterday and they had a special guest on talking about Jeremy Bamber who is in prison for murdering members of his family and the context was that hes recently been refused permission to talk to journalists. Its a podcast that talks about the law so it was mostly about whether putting this restriction on him was legal. One of the guests said something that made me skip back to make sure I hadn't misheard, he claimed that it was unlikely that Bamber had committed the murders because he had never done anything previously and people don't just murder someone out of nowhere. I was amazed, how often do we hear when someone commits an awful crime what a nice person they were and a good neighbour etc.

I think humans vastly overestimate their ability to read other people. I think the Traitors is such a great example of this, we are not good interpreters of other peoples actions or intentions especially when they want to deceive us.
I have a feeling that women as a group are much better at reading other people than the majority of men. I know its a cliché but, On one level we have to be, as women we have to be aware we tend to be lighter, not as strong as some men, and need to consider the motives of men and women around us.
This seems to be blatantly obvious, when we have things like trans women, dressed up in make up and a dress, and they seem to assume they pass, when most women can tell at a glance that they are male. - even if they are too polite or bewildered to actually say anthing!

Id give an example of this with the TV show Ponies. With Emilia Clarke. We watched Game of thrones and Dany was one of our favourite characters as the series went on. She morphed into a strong independent woman, who did what she wanted to do!! Watching Ponies, I clocked Emilia Clarke immediately. It took my husband 3 or 4 episodes and reading her name on the credits at the end, to recognise her. '' oh she looks so different with dark hair'' ( no she doesnt!)
I have this as an issue with quite a few programmes now, with actors you recognise from a different role, and I can find it quite... tricky to believe in them as a completely different character. Some of it is to do with the quality of the acting, and the way a part is written!

And then there are also women who are even better at reading others, and picking up on body language etc. Probably a minority but enough to make it obvious! And if you are like this, it gets disconcerting to realise that not everyone sees or notices things the same as you!

This doesn't seem to have made it here yet. Apparently this church will provide an entertainer for any bigoted woman who is concerned that a man might be using the Ladies loo. So reassuring to have someone sniffing around outside the cubicle - keeping an eye and ear out for danger no doubt.

Is that legal? Have they got a similar sign outside the gents toilets (so that they in effect have two unisex facilities, presumably with the required enclosed cubicles), or have they got a gents facility, a unisex facility, and no single-sex provision for biological women?

And who is the moron who thinks the 'correct' response here is 'let men do what the duck they want, legal or otherwise, and force women to be sanctioned for objecting'?

It is a charitable organisation and part of the Church of England and has lots of information at the Charity Commission

The Trustees should be advised by their legal advisers that this scheme is not in accordance with the law.

Also that it is indecent and creepy.

Apparently Sunderland Minster is part of the Inclusive Church network, which I think means anything goes.

Imagine living in a world where men treated women as well as they treat men dressed as women.

And everybody has to do a first murder win order to do a second or third, don't they? They may seem "nice" outside the family, but there are many men who are monsters when they close the door behind them when they get home.

Look at the family annihilators out there. They are sweetness and light until they murder their wives and children (and sometimes themselves, the cowardly guys).

THERE HAS TO BE A FIRST ONE.
Ted Bundy was supposedly a top guy to know too, does that mean he was innocent? bleeping idiots.

Guarantee you their insurance policy includes something that says they have to abide by the law in order to not invalidate their insurance policy. It wouldn't even need to be anything to do with the bathroom. If a pipe bursts or theres a fire, an insurance company will do anything they can to get out of paying, I guarantee you they would say that the minister violated the contract and they wouldn't get anything.

A guy does this in Savannah. Goes around the supermarket or city and says hideous things to them. He’s been complained about multiple times but apparently these glasses aren’t illegal. They bloody should be!
In Ireland a young Ukranian man used them to film a woman being helped by the ambulance service because she went into labour and then put her giving birth online

If I lived nearby I’d make it a hobby to go in those toilets on a regular basis and ask for a chaperone every single time.

Perhaps the volunteers could entertainer TIM to the Gents if they feel unsafe? That way they can keep the ✨most vulnerable✨ safe and stay within the law.
I believe WRN have raised this with the powers that be. I would imagine this will sort itself out.

Hard agree, and I think it's partly innate.

I see it time and time again on SM like Xitter where men just can't grasp that women need to be away from the male gaze at certain times, and that includes TIM. Just one man - even if they are "behaving" - in a group that should be women-only makes women wary.

There's a case in America where "Mia" murdered their parents because their trans surgery was cancelled, even though the parents were ultimately supportive... they even admit in the police interview the parents supported them. It's horrifying to see the video of the surviving family members and what direct aftermath of a crime like this is like.

Reporting still cares more about the poor widdle transgirl and making sure the gender identity is respected, though.

Patagonia the outdoor brand suing Pattie Gonia the drag queen

The performer said the Patagonia trademark lawsuit amounted to its CEO Ryan Gellert and other executives deciding that "I must cease to exist".

Dramatic as ever.
