I absolutely did not realise how bad the issue was until recently, having swallowed the TRA lies that they're too tiny a minority to have any effect on my life, and that 'cis men' would never go to all the trouble of pretending to be trans. My perception was that trans rights were mostly a terminally online thing and most people in the real world would have barely even heard of them. I'm not sure exactly when that changed, but it feels like they're everywhere now.
I've barely left the house since pre-covid times due to carer commitments, which ended about 6 months ago, and since then I've seen at least 5 of them in the shopping centre, and a former schoolmate has trooned out. That's twice the number I'd seen/heard of in my whole life before.
I've yet to run into one in a public toilet though, and can't speak to changing rooms as I haven't used any.
To be fair to them, none of the TIMs I've seen were doing or wearing anything inappropriate, but they still evoke a feeling of instant discomfort. You don't know if they'd flip out if they thought you microaggressed them or whatever. Two of them I wouldn't have even immediately realised were trying to present as women. One just looked like a regular guy with long-ish hair in his work uniform, and I wouldn't have guessed if I hadn't happened to pass him on the street 20 minutes earlier and saw him with his tiny moobs in a woman's top. The other looked slightly feminine but still obviously a man with long hair, and I only realised the second time I saw him, when he served me and the voice gave him away as a TW. They were both pretty young guys, possibly started on oestrogen as teens. I wonder if they thought they passed.
On the bright side, I've also seen 1 gay and 2 lesbian couples holding hands, which definitely did not happen often in my city 10+ years ago. I hate that LGB is lumped into the same acronym as them and conflated in so many people's minds. I hate so much that we've made progress in some ways but backslid in others.

I remember him! He was everywhere in the early 00s.
I saw an interesting post on fb about surrogacy. I think it makes good points. I haven't seen the video they are talking about, it sounds heartbreaking. The majority of comments were common sense and science based. Babies really need their mothers. The two exchange cells, smells and hormones and respond to each other in a biological way that men just do not have (although there are different biological responses between father and child regarding play). To rip a child from it's mother is abhorrent.
He refuses to compromise his bloke-ness. While he is confident enough in his (somewhat curtailed) masculinity to wear pink (or he would if it didn't clash horribly with his bright orange fur), he refuses to pretend he's a "queenietom".
He's a lover of ladygirl cats - not some sort of furry p.

I’ve seen the video. It’s horrible. And there’s a really foul comment underneath like ‘you should have slapped her’ and the one who posted the video did a laugh react.
They also have two older children they’ve bought and monetised. They were being interviewed by a woman asking them which of their ‘dads’ was more X or Y and one of the questions was sexual ( can’t quite remember what but it was not something you ask a 6 and 8 year old). Sick people
I saw the clip. The two kids stood behind the dads and answered questions by pointing at them. One of the questions was “Who is horniest?”
I have a husband like that keeps telling the girls he is part of the girl gang but we don’t let him in but he keeps trying very trying now he is retired

I don't think the chances are that strong unless he has a technicality that hes going to use. He did hit the phone from the TRA's hand which is assault, I don't think he denies he hit the phone out the TRAs hand either, I think he just claims it was because of harassment.
