Great article in the Guardian about the IOC testing by Tanya Aldred

"There have been claims that sex screening targets black athletes from the global south, such as South Africa’s Caster Semenya, Kenya’s Margaret Wambui and Burundi’s Francine Niyonsaba, who all won medals in the 800m at the 2016 Olympics, fairly under the IOC rules of the time. But that is not accurate. The SRY screening will be applied to anyone who wants to compete in the female category at the 2028 Olympics, regardless of where they are from. As XY-DSD athletes, Semenya, Wambui and Niyonsaba were reported female at birth but have the SRY gene and male-level testosterone to which their bodies typically respond, and this confers physical advantage. They would therefore now be excluded. Their previous inclusion meant there were female runners from South Africa, Kenya and Burundi who didn’t get a chance to go the Olympics. "

Exactly!

Banning a male athlete doesn't "punish" female athletes from their country - it gives them the opportunity to compete and to shine. Every man who competes in women's sports - even if he comes embarrassingly last (yeah, right ) - has TAKEN A PLACE FROM A WOMAN who has also trained for countless hours, denied herself a lot of indulgences, and put her heart and soul into being the very best that she can in her chosen field.

Well isn’t this a bleeping mess.

The child's mother was in a les relationship at the time of conception, but not married.

The couple paid Albon £100 in cash and a £150 Amazon gift card before she got pregnant via artificial insemination.

By the time the child was born, the mother's partner had begun identifying as a trans man and was registered on the birth certificate as the father.
This black market for donor sperm is so very disturbing. No contract, no medical checks… just men with a maniacal desire to “spread their seed” far and wide, with a side order of taking advantage of desperate women who either cannot or will not access donor sperm the regulated way.

I know a lot of these donors insist on “natural” insemination which means they get to have sex with a vulnerable woman, no questions asked.

Campbell, like the fox killer, is a seething mass of resentment that a mere woman not only has opinions, but has a following and influence and wealth beyond all imagining. And that she won’t share any of her bounty with them, through an influential connection or boosting their crappy podcast. Instead she supports and hangs out voluntarily with the women his daughter despises. All is topsy turvy land and so much of it is because JKR stood up. If she wasn’t there I don’t know what the landscape in the UK would be like.

We have come to a position where we need to take radical steps to reduce male sexual violence. I really think men need to be drugged. So much of society's problems are down to testosterone and socialisation - violence against each other, violence against women and girls, warmongering. Education can only go so far. Let's be honest, we are going backwards in many respects even in highly developed countries. Let's drug the guys and we can all live happily ever after.
It might seem strange - but this man agrees with all of that. My childhood experiences taught me the worst side of the male character - although at least I could grow out of it. Over the years, I've reached the conclusion that the male brain in general is less "evolved" than the female one. Cavemen in suits basically.

Me and my Deeds Not Words tattoo just spent a lovely half hour at a Suffragette exhibition (at the castle for Geordie adjacent TERFs - only till Sunday)
Totally welling up at footage of the rallies. Those women were fearless. Weirdly despite the fact that they've always been with us, no sign of any of our trans sisters. It's probably just because they pass so well I didn't notice them...

And of course, they never mention it . . . 😂

It's at the Black Gate and they have a lift. £14 entrance was a bit steep for what it was, but that's for the whole castle and the ticket lasts a full year.

I haven't watched this yet - it just turned up on my YT feed - but these women generally are of interest and talk a lot of sense.

honestly I think a lot of these men never got over being told off by their mothers or female teachers as children, and their egos couldn't cope so whenever they get told off or shown up by a female it sends them into some primal rage.
I think there’s a lot in this. I’m sure if the predominant voices in the trans rights movement were TIF it would have got nowhere. It’s angry entitled misogynistic men who think women have no right to tell them “NO”. They don’t like not getting their own way one bit.

This whole thing is such a load of unnecessary drama, all TRAs and loons have to do is respect that we don't want them taking up space that belongs to biological women.
Don't play our sports, keep your fetishes private and stop pretending you have a menstrual cycle.

This is Alistair Campbell's daughter - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree

So I’m assuming the dark haired one is trans? I’ve no clue who that is.

but it’s funny that the trans is still more attractive than the abhorrent Grace Campbell, and agree with the PP mentioning her body language showing that she isn’t actually comfortable.

This is why I adore and love Jo and the TRA’s will still call her every slur under the sun.

and on top of that if he 'donates' prolifically and locally, then in a generation's time there will be folk unwittingly going around dating half siblings. Depends how much he 'sews them oats' but there's a risk, surely?

I don’t think this brilliant article by Helen Joyce has been posted:

She’s such a good writer.

As for the man going around spreading his sperm and the women who bought it. How could you deliberately do that to a child? I don’t get it. If you don’t want to pay for regulated donor sperm, have a random bag.

Children deserve to know who their parents are.
