I learned recently that this tactic - talking at a patient to try to distract them from the pain - is called a “vocal local”.

It’s totally inhumane but that’s women’s health for you.
Just a little interesting snippet - this where the term "gossip" comes from (Gossip = "God's sibling") . Women used to hold the hand of a woman in labour and distract her with news of what people had been up to - the more scurrilous the better!

Nowadays we shouldn't need this as our only method of pain relief.

I do suspect that there’s a very strong push to try and normalise anything and everything. Things which would once have been seen as shameful are now being pushed in our faces and we’re meant to celebrate it? I’ve said it before, but women with boundaries are ridiculed as prudes, but don’t anyone dare kink shame. I honestly think there should be shame. I don’t want to witness anyone’s sexual fetishes.
Can you imagine the reaction in the past to this walking mass of red flags? This isn’t stunning. It’s not brave. It’s a p with sick fantasies indulging them in the open. I hate to think what’s going on in his mind, the combination of child like dressing and sexual euphoria.
There is such a constant push that they are in the right and we are in the wrong, I do wonder what percentage of males do have these grim tendencies, and the patriarchy are gradually eroding our resistance until anything goes.

Well said!

BRING BACK SHAME!!!

I've been saying this for ages. Some things should not be tolerated under any circumstances - they are found, perverted and just plain WRONG.

I want some kind of coallition government, maybe of all the political parties as happened during the second world war. So that instead of focusing on all these stupid petty different vote grabbing policies, that are absolutely impossible to achieve, We could have a government working together to sort the country out for the future.

Surely it cant be too difficult.
Sort out the economy, increase the number of small businesses that actually make or produce things that people want to buy.
Give people jobs that pay enough to live on.
Work towards some of the environmental/ weather events that we know are coming with Climate change.
Sort out the NHS, maybe it does need to be streamlined more to just provide emergency care, with benefits or graded systems for other medical issues as they do in other european countries?
Sort out old age care, and social care and decent care for Children who are taken into the care care system.
Sort out the housing stupidity. We may be massively short of decent social housing int he UK, but building expensive private housing doesnt sort this out at all.
Help the younger generation, eg sort out the expense of further education and degrees, its not fair to end up owing thousands of pounds at the start of young persons life. Give them an affordable future. As it is the idea of working forever with no chance of retirement, cant be good.
There doesn't seem to be any party for young people. Odd. Maybe the vote share is too small to be worth it.

I had this procedure with no pain relief and a male doctor. There was a female nurse and female chaperone present and their idea of pain relief was to talk absolute nonsense to me to 'distract' me from the pain. At one stage they said most women would have asked for a break at this point, and I was almost praised for not doing so. They know it's painful and how bad it gets and yet pain relief was never offered.
This is very similar to my experience. The female nurse held my hand and talked to me about my upcoming holiday to “take my mind off it” - if they know, which they obviously do, why wouldn’t the ly offer relief as standard?

Wearing his mental illness for all sane people to see. At least we get a warning there's danger close by.
I think for men like him it’s not even a mental illness. He knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s a sexual fetish on full display, applauded by so called progressives.

That reads to me like “we’ve been threatened with legal action and we have been left with no choice.” (or finally taken legal advice)

“GC views are highly polarising” 🙄 give me a break...

This is a forced row back but at least they’ve managed to piss everyone off now.

Literally came here to say the same. The sentence about protected beliefs gives it away.
bleeps, I hope the choir has found another spot, or they could take up Scopes offer and sing some of Mr Menno's compositions

I hope it was the threat of legal action that forced this reverse ferret because it confirms that we have the most powerful weapon in our hands. It was legal action that forced the Girl Guides and the WI to make similar, 'we hate to have to have to do it' about-turn. And in the case of Scope, this should lead them to stop allowing men pretending to be women from providing intimate care as I understand they do at present.

I don't care if they are being forced to do this kicking and screaming as long as they follow the law. And once they start to follow the law it will be so much harder for them to go back again. TRA got this far mainly through stealth and stifling debate. We won't let them get away with that in the future.

This should be illegal. It's surely fraudulent?
I would say so, this is just hearsay from around the Gorton win I read on Twatter that made a certain amount of sense. If anything I suspect a sin of omission where they have selectively highlighted areas of concern tailored for the audience in the target language and just maybe left out some other stuff.

For example, the green candidate for my area makes no lgbtqi+++ points at all, it’s all very generic about working for people and not being the incumbents. They are also a white male. Still doesn’t mention the environment mind. whereas you read their actual manifesto aims and it is complete no borders, no police, no prisons, tax the billionaires universal benefits immediately batshit nonsense.

Im so tired. I imagine im not alone. Im tired of seeing gross hairy men get called beautiful and brave. Im tired of asking myself how anyone can truly think the twaw nonsense and if they dont why theyre so willing to act like they do. Im tired of this crap making me not left wing anymore. Im so bleeping left but I cant align with this so im a right wing bigot. Im tired of reading 298954 new articles a day of how a man has grape/beaten/killed a woman. Im tired of reliving the violent grape that nearly killed me 17 years ago because every day there's something else. Im SO tired of being triggered all the time. Im tired of being scared for my daughter. Im tired of being scared my very blunt, autistic son will eventually get done for a 'misgendering hate crime' because he at the grand age of 8 can see through their grotesque efforts.

Im so tired. Thank you for reading. ❤
Agree with every word of this.

Yes, that's what they did in Gorton. It was easier for them because that seat is made up of two different areas - Gorton which has a majority ethnic minority community with the large Muslim population and Denton which has a clear majority white population. So they it was easy on a practical basis to produce different literature for both sides of the divide both in terms of language and, crucially, content. Many voters in Gorton who I saw interviewed after the election were unaware of the Greens' legalise drugs policies for example. And there's no way that many of the ordinary people would have been aware of the alphabet stuff.

The Greens are incredibly dangerous. I read elsewhere that there's a plan to 'sanitise' their manifesto for the elections. Whatever we read won't be worth the paper it's written on other than the trans stuff which may fly under the radar depending on what the state of play in the country is.

I like looking up random things on the internet and decided to see what training is required to become a Norland nanny (Norland nannies are renowned for being hired by the royals and high profile families worldwide and undergo rigorous childcare training at the prestigious Norland College. They also have a reputation for being quite traditionalist).

Anyway, I was shocked to see that even this institution hasn’t avoided ideological capture.

I wonder if they will be excused the boring brown uniform and be able to wear their favourite bum skimming frock and stilettos? Whilst pretending to be mummy and shoving their hairy moobs into some poor child's face
That will be the end of this prestigious institution. Reputation in the gutter. ALL BECAUSE TWAW. RIP Norland nannies ⚰

It might be tricky for the Greens to disguise their trans agenda if they field a similar large amounts of trans candidates in the GE. If it wasn’t so disturbing it would be funny to see the inevitable uncomfortableness between them and the conservative Muslim candidates.

bleeping weasels. What a mealy-mouthed rescindment. ‘Highly polarising’ my a; they haven’t got the integrity to admit that they allowed some virtue-signalling intern to make a fool of them.

And what ‘support’ can any person need just because a person singing in a choir for charity holds a belief they don’t think they should be allowed to hold?

If it was me, I certainly wouldn’t be attending - I don’t think Scope should be allowed to half-arsedly reverse-ferret away from this shameful ‘ducking stool’ mentality.

Dearest Froggy 🐸, hope you are getting some help for what you went through. I can't imagine how it feels to go through the trauma on a regular basis.

I think you should take heart in the fact that things are definitely changing (not in terms of women being grape, beaten and murdered) but gender wise there's definitely been a shift. Just little things like I went to join the library yesterday and the equal ops form asked "What is your sex" then the follow up question was "Do you identify with your sex at birth?" I know it's just a little thing but 18 months ago these would not have been the questions. For a kid of your son's age, I'm sure by the time he goes to high school this whole thing will have blown over for kids and schools will once again become a place of learning rather than activism.
Thank you! That means a lot...I hope you're right!
