BBC referring to the TIM mass shooter as she/her with no information on him being male identifying as female. Where is best to report articles like these? Complain to BBC directly?

An absolute joke that they lie about the sex of a mass-shooter whose victims were predominantly female whilst on the same day feature this article about women and girls who were killed by men last year. Shameful hypocrisy.

I came to post that too!
For a community that supposedly forms only 0.02% of the population, they certainly manage to stick their oar in a lot.

I expect it's because they're so stunning and brave, so they're prepared to bite the bullet and have their faces in the papers (even though they just want to quietly and unobtrusively get on with their lives, shopping for hair dye and spinny skirts, and collecting their oestrogen from the chemist and other lady stuff).

View attachment 3918815Look how Dylan the Man is front and centre of the Broadway advert for Six. None of the characters are more important than the others, but look which one they chose as the main focus 🙄 Dilly the Man. Photoshopped to heck.
And who better than to celebrate women’s history month 🙄 I see they have to limit comments on all their posts.

Remember Uptonogood made a complaint about an elderly patient with dementia using male pronouns. These TIM are so narcissistic I wouldn’t trust them to put genuinely vulnerable people before their own constant self obsession and drive for validation.

I just can’t think of any other law - actual law- that is discussed, obfuscated, downplayed and outright ignored than this. It was a fucking clarification too, not an actual change in law!
Exactly that. It wasn't a removal of trans rights. You can't take away what someone didn't have in the first place.

What they are really angry about is the realisation that if you identify as a woman, you identify out of having male privilege. Whilst that obviously isn't a right, it probably feels like a loss of a right to them. The SC didn't take anything away. JKR didn't take anything away. They took their own 'rights' away. And we are supposed to what, allow them to keep male privilege? Nah.

Shirley Manson can fuck off too.
Manson's a fully paid up TWAW, which possibly shouldn't surprise us given her ode (Cherry Lips off their...third album I think) to literary fraud and grifter JT Leroy, who turned out to be a hoax character created by Lara Albert. The book 'Sarah' which purported to be written by JT LeRoy was about his past as a transsexual child prostitute and, iirc, includes a deeply disturbing scene involving CSA in which anal rape is metaphorised as menstruation. Basically a TiM's sexual fantasy

TBH I am rarely surprised or upset when singers or actors parrot TWAW because I look for singers and actors to entertain me, not to be public intellectuals. In fact the very fact that we seem to expect our entertainers to stand in for public intellectuals and to have all the 'right' opinions, only reinforces how intellectually vacuous we have become as a culture.

A prison officer who was sacked for refusing to use wrong pronouns has lost his appeal. Although the judge was satisfied he ‘held a philosophical belief protected by the Equality Act’ (it still jars me that calling a biological male ‘he’ is a ‘philosophical belief’), he was sacked for not complying with the company’s policies on trans prisoners, rather than his beliefs. Surely this is setting a precedent to potentially overturn the Forstater judgment in that, regardless of your ‘beliefs’, if you do not tow the line regarding using wrong-sex pronouns at work, you can still be sacked anyway. In other words, your language can now be compelled. If you want to stay employed, you are forced to reject the evidence of your own eyes and ears.

Normalising these behaviours into the mainstream. You can slowly see it filtering into society.
I definitely think that’s there’s a huge push to normalise more and more extreme behaviours. These absolutely vile men are bringing their perversions out into the open. Can you imagine the reaction 20 years ago compared with now? Back in the day, they wouldn’t have dared publicly reveal their depravities and would have been condemned by men and women alike.

Now there’s this gradual push to openly flout more and more extreme behaviour. Their brains are addled by porn ( never, ever watched it myself but I think it’s exploitive, damaging and disgusting-I don’t see sex as a spectator sport even if it interested me- it doesn’t). Now, it’s people who object that are shamed. There’s what I call the “prude shaming”. No one dare express any disgust or have boundaries otherwise be called a prude like it’s the worst thing in the world. What goes on between consenting adults is up to them, but I don’t want to know anything about it, nor do I want to be an unwilling participant in some sick creatures fetish. If that means I’m a prude, good. I’d rather have boundaries.
You're not bliddy kidding!

They should keep their filthy fantasies inside their own perverted heads, and not inflict the obscene sordid details on the normal world.
Exactly Micey.

bbc as impartial as always. No journalist name on the article

The 34-year-old, who won last month's Gorton and Denton by-election, was helped by the police towards a waiting car after anti-transgender activists clashed with women's rights and anti-racism campaigners.

They've missed out the bit where an Equalities officer for Salford Unison who was doing 'security' for Hannah Spencer and stand up to racism punched a female YouTuber in the face.

It never does though, they just say it's someone pretending to be trans.
That means it's someone pretending to be a woman, as opposed to someone pretending to be a woman.
It makes perfect sense!
Yeah, it's always acceptance without exception until someone like this comes along and then it's all well that person's not really trans.
But, but, but you said no one would ever pretend to be trans for malevolent reasons.
The mental gymnastics are mind blowing

Did anyone see Seema Mahotri on Sky news The Wrap during the week? (it used to be called Press Preview, she's the Labour under-secretary for Equalities in Department of Education)
It was the day of the Olympic announcement that Women's category is for biological women - I only caught the end of Mahotri's comments, she was saying that these DSD men will be unable to compete as they will be barred from Women's sports, they can't compete with other men, and how unfair this is for these men.
It seems she actually thinks there is a third sex, that a man with a DSD is neither male or female (or they are both sexes? 🤪) so they should compete with women - how can an intelligent woman be this stupid?

The other panelist pointed out it was unfair to women, who have trained for years, to compete with men as they have a biological advantage.
Mahotri has a strange take on biology and equality - won't somebody think of the men!?! 🙄
If having a DSD renders a man unable to take part in elite sports, that's unfortunate. Maybe the solution would be to include a category in the Paralympics - if it is a known disadvantage (I don't know if it is or not). Or maybe they would qualify for an existing category.

If having a DSD means that a man is unable to take part in elite sports against other men because they're simply not good enough - tough. Most of us (male or female) aren't good enough. Accept it, move on and find something you are good at without cheating.

The solution is not to compete against women, when you are a male.

It's such an imbecilic attempt at a 'gotcha'. No one has an open-door policy whereby any random member of society is able to use their toilet, and your home toilet is a single-person room that locks from the inside.

I've been spied on by a man over the top of a cubicle in a publicly accessible toilet. Amazingly, this has never happened to me in my own home.
Yeah, I mean in general TRAs have the worst gotchas. And the weird thing is, they clearly think they're doing something smart. My favourite low-IQ clapbacks, ranked in order of amusing stupidity, are:

1. You have a unisex toilet in your house!
2. Transwomen are just like Black women, for reasons!
3. Urgh, why are you so obsessed with other people's genitals?
4. We just want to pee!
5. Trans are a tiny and highly vulnerable minority. Why are you getting so angry about less than 1% of the population? Don't you have anything better to do?

All of the above are based on either deliberate or unknowing semantic category error/ontological error and I do find it baffling that TRAs, who often like to pretend to some mysterious higher state of insight, don't seem able to recognise what a 14 year old of average intelligence should be able to point to with ease.

Reading about The Bookish Types in Leeds where the shop invites people to vandalise JK Rowling's books, it is stories like these that really show there can't be any doubt transgenderism is hugely linked to severe mental illness and it was a bad day for us all when it was unlinked from the DSM.

How can people be so delusional they call for acceptance and love then do things like this? How can they hate Christians and anyone even slightly not left leaning enough but behave no better than the Purtian witch hunters and religiously motivated book burners?

I despise how this movement has been encouraged to force us all to bow at their feet or else we are basically criminal.

No bigger indication (if one was needed) that these people are male. Very few women would insert themselves into spaces/roles that they shouldn't be in. The entitlement is off the scale.
His poor fucking sister. Imagine your brother stealing your clothes, wearing them, doing fuck knows what in them (knocked myself sick now) and then compounding the humiliation by writing about it to further getting his kicks. I hope she's no contact with him - which if she is, will no doubt be because of ✨transphobia✨
Vile twisted little fucker.

I'm glad "sex change" isn't used any more because it wasn't accurate and gave people a false sense of security/fairness.
I agree, sex change isn't accurate either but I think it's closer to describing the graphic butchering that these surgeries are. Sex change used to refer to people who had had the surgeries. Trans is more vague and anyone can be trans without surgeries and this also gives a false sense of security. I'm not sure what the perfect word would be though.

I saw this on twitter. The internalised misogyny of some women sickens me. Why are they completely ignoring the victim in all this? Its as though they believe no immigrant can do any wrong. That's such a dangerous belief.
