I love her!! Highly recommend her and Gorka’s YouTube channel (it’s called Gem and Gorks), their vlogs are so adorable, wish they would do more!

BIB - it's not always about not letting them out in time. When we were training our pup, she would pee in the house literally a few mins after being put out. She simply didn't understand. By doing this, it trains the dog to understand when it is right to pee/poop and when not. And lots of positive reinforcement when they get it right by going outside (our treat for this was half a Babybel.... Don't ask! 🤣 It worked though!).
Absolutely, and whatever works! That's much better than locking the poor thing up
---
She doesn’t take kindly to anyone questioning her. I learned the hard way after sending her a very polite DM when she posted something I thought was ‘off-brand’. Her response was surprisingly heavy-handed to my polite & qualified comment. Needless to say I no longer follow & I’m definitely not a fan!
Can I ask what she was advertising/ doing? I've only ever noticed the clothing and dishwasher tabs (that would have been tested on animals)
---
She’s said before that gorka is very strict and will shout at Mia for wanting to come in their bed. I mean each to their own but night time can be scary for little ones so I don’t think shouting at her is nice. She’s once said before something along the lines of when the Spaniard goes off he goes off and that Mia was worried she was gonna tell daddy when she had a tantrum in the middle of the night. ( I think what she was on about the other day)
I've Italian in me and have the very short fuse, and both sides of my family are very blunt, which I've also inherited, but I'm also an adult and and curb my behaviour amd attitude appropriately.
Thats made me sad to think that Mia may be afraid of him. That's not teaching respect or boundaries, that's just teaching fear, lying, not getting caught and not trusting a parent... been there done that with one of my parents. I loved them, but I always covered my tracks and never quite knew where I stood

I think it’s a mix of their dodgy MUA/too much make up/wrong shades and possibly editing. She doesn’t look like that when her usual MUA does her up.
I looked at her other recent Insta posts and she still looks like herself there, must be the oversized false lashes and make-up. The ITS outfits are still awful tho.

Who wants that tacky af jumper that says saint tropez? I’ve been to saint tropez, no one would be seen dead in that there - there is a full on Chanel mansion 😅

I didn't know that: thanks for the info.
I also thought the Balenciaga scandal was about the child sexual abuse connotations.
This ITS gig must be paying an absolute fortune-for Gemma to be throwing - I thought it was a bad match because of the style and quality of the clothes but to think she's working with a controversial company in terms of work conditions is even more perplexing and disappointing. A bad fit all round.
Quoting myself here as I notice I've made a mistake in the above post!
Meant to say Gemma must be getting paid an absolute fortune by ITS to be throwing away/risking her image as quite an unproblematic, down to earth and honest type, by working with such a company.

Just wanna say Gemma looks bloody stunning in her latest in the style “collection” whether you’re an its fan or not she makes it look cracking!!
Yes she looks stunning in them but Gemma looks stunning in anything she wears. If I were to buy them, which I wouldn't as I don't support fast fashion brands, then I'd look like a sack of spuds 😂😂

I'll forever be mad with jealousy that she bagged Gorka but she comes across well, they are a lovely little family.

I love Gemma. She seems so down to earth and normal which I love. She shows Mia but isn’t trying to cash in on the whole being a parent thing which I also respect. I just wish I had half her energy and passion for working out 😂 her stories do make my lazy ass feel guilty!!

I’m 100% with Gemma on sleep. I think you have to teach children to sleep well in a way. We’ve always been very firm but kind with our kids around bedtime & where they sleep. I’ve never left my kids crying but I agree with Gemma, I know what’s fake screeching & what’s genuine upset. I think we’ve taught our kids healthy sleep habits & as such, I have two kids who 95% of the time sleep through the night in their own rooms & consequently, we get a solid 8 hours sleep and are cheerful parents! I hate sharing a bed, I can’t sleep with anyone remotely near me. Even with my husband, who I love to death, we have a super king so we are nowhere near each other for actual sleeping 😂

I think you do you, if you enjoy sleeping with your kids then great! But it’s not for everyone. Nice to hear from someone who isn’t harping on about attachment parenting to be honest. Gemma’s parenting is refreshingly normal! Mia’s a lovely kid, she’s clearly doing something right!
No one cares about where some one elses child sleeps i doubt that's the issue at all.

If Mia is fake screaming the house down to get her own way and Gemma asked for advice no one in their right mind would say call her naughty and lock her in her room !

Id love to see her DM's right now from all the social workers who follow her 👀

The thing is, she never stuck me as a materialistic person, you would often she her and Mia is repeat outfits which is refreshing for someone with larger following, showing not wasteful and only wearing stuff once. She looks amazing in her outfits dont get me wrong and good on her for taking opportunities where she gets them, but i would never of put her with in the style, i dont feel it represents her and views.
Yeah, I think this is it. I just didn't really expect her to jump on the bog standard influencer/celeb bandwagon. I'm under no illusion that unless you're paying big bucks for gymwear, it's never going to be truly sustainable, but In The Style don't have a great rep (I try and buy the odd sustainable thing here and there, but generally my budget is limited to cheap brands, so I can't really critisise much!)

She seems like a decent, common sense sort in general, so hopefully she's had a bit of a say in the quality etc

The styling is so strange. She’s normally so fresh-faced but she looked more like she was going on a night out with so much makeup on than doing a shoot for gym wear!
The pink and blue balloons made no sense either, at first glance I thought it was a gender reveal :ROFLMAO:

I agree, could listen to her on any topic. I remember she did story about missing TV a bit and basically never say never she said, and it’s got to work around Mia, it’s great that she’s able to lay down the path of that. Good on her. So down to earth and pleasant.
