Oh I love Gemma!! I love her attitude to fitness and her eating habits And she comes across as a very genuine person And so lovely. Really pleased for her and Gorka And Mia is just adorable!

I think it would be weirder if she was actively trying to discourage it. Kids that age often had odd / weird “crushes” on people. I think it’s cute that she likes Will and the fact she named that elf after him made me laugh

I think it's funny too..... my sister who is 12 years younger than my brother had a crush on one of his team mates in his footie team... she was a bit older than Mia but used to say he was her boyfriend and write 'I love Jim' on her books..... he took it in good spirit and she grew out of it .... lol !


Also - I notice Gemma was at a party wearing jeans and 'a nice top' lol ! None of her ITS rubbish which shows that she's obvs not comfortable wearing it out....... she looked lovely in the pics at the party...... she just looks uncomfortable in the ITS polyester stuff !

The thing I really appreciate is that both Gemma and Gorka are very realistic about fitness - they don't hide how hard they work and don't pretend you can look like that by simply doing a few HIIT sessions a week. But at the same time, they're very 'this is what works for me, but it's not for everyone', and have helpful, realistic suggestions about changes you can make - I found the short exercise routines they posted during the first lockdown really useful and motivating

I don't begrudge the fact that it's easier for them as they have a gym - they've worked hard for it and it's clearly not a fad for them and is a big part of their lives so they've been able to make the time for it. Good for them

(On a not unrelated note, I'm a bit fed up of so many fitness influencers flip-flopping from trend to trend based on what is popular right now. Just makes me question how seriously they take it and whether it's just all about engagement for them)

I agree with you Gemma and Gorka work incredibly hard to maintain their bodies and show realistically how much effort is required.

Fitness influencers are a big turn off ATM they just go suddenly become coaches but never really show a true maintained structure as you say they flit between things

I'm all for discipline and agree with you, although I've never trapped any of my children in a room.

I think the poster that messaged her has a point and was possibly suggesting that Gemma practices cruelty free and kindness (aside from ITS and when she promoted P&G products) and that holding a door is cruel.
There are plenty of other ways of teaching your child to sleep in their own bed, even when they're having a temper.
She said she had Gorks with her so they could have taken turns getting up and down with her until she settled.

She then dug herself in deeper by saying she locked her puppies up for having an accident. Why punish them because you as a human didn't let them out in time?

BIB - it's not always about not letting them out in time. When we were training our pup, she would pee in the house literally a few mins after being put out. She simply didn't understand. By doing this, it trains the dog to understand when it is right to pee/poop and when not. And lots of positive reinforcement when they get it right by going outside (our treat for this was half a Babybel.... Don't ask! It worked though!).

I really like Gemma, she just seems an all round lovely person, i watch her stories and think she is the clear down the street not someone with over 1.5 million followers!
I also think the fact she often recommends her ex's business shows how much of a decent person she is and it made me sad to hear she didnt have the best stricly experience with a certain fellow celeb, but she got the best prize in the end!

It's been mentioned a few times on the Strictly thread, but Alexandra made a thinly veiled dig at Gorka on her insta stories when it was announced he wasn't going to have a celeb partner a few series back. Neither Gorka or Gemma have ever said anything publicly about her, but Gorka doesn't follow her on insta anymore

I think there were rumours Alexandra wasn't happy about being so unpopular on Strictly and blamed Gorka? I always assumed she was just a bit put out about Gemma and Gorka getting together

i know she means well with sharing all the optimistic pregnancy is amazing stuff and oh im getting a private midwife to lower the load on the NHS, but surely most of her followers are bang average income and could only ever dream of going private. Nothing like making them worry there is something wrong, i feel like this may be a long pregnancy!

Ahh I’m so disappointed I do love Gemma and this seems so different to who she actually is. I can only hope she had some stipulations when it came to how it’s manufactured etc but who knows? I think Gemma always looks amazing, even in her gym wear but a lot of this isn’t even flattering on her.

Really disappointed!! They are a fast fashion company, more than likely paying next to nothing to the factory workers, most of it I'm sure ends up in the bin after a few wears. She has her GA leggings etc. No, not on board with this and really surprised she has teamed up with them

I don’t know why it irritates me so much but when she talks about stuff Gorka has said she puts on a voice and accent - I find it so rude! If I was telling somewhat what an Indian person said to me and did that I’d be called racist!

I don't have kids so can't comment on that side of things but I don't see her being any different to any of the other influencers who show/flaunt their child on IG which is her choice of course and she does appear to always think she's right about stuff. She's a little sickly sweet nice for my liking but I'm a grumpy antisocial old cow at times

i don’t find her to always think she’s right in that she’s not saying this is the best way and you should all do this. I think she just explains what she does and why with force when it is questioned and defends what she does. I kind of like that she has her own beliefs and stands by them without being influenced by the hate, negativity and questions. There’s a difference between standing up for what you think is right for your family/you and saying that yours is the right way full stop.

I wonder if ITS just use standard hair and makeup teams who have a generic look for whoever they are styling. They cant be that personal with Gemma as when she was describing what was used the other day, they dm her to correct methods. When she goes to other events and uses her friend Cinta (Sp) it much more of an better look.
