Seems that way. He seems to have a bed set up in the living room and he doesn’t look very mobile from what I’ve noticed. God love them all, I do hope it’s not terminal

He went back one day last week. She had sunrise stories looking on verge of tears after saying goodbye to him. My guess is she doesn’t know how long she’ll be staying home for. If her Dad is terminally ill it’s prob not a clear timeline. It won’t be easy to leave even after worst case scenario of him passing, she’ll surely want to stay on to help her Mummy etc. I don’t know how they’ve afforded to go home again so soon after being home all summer. Last minute flights home at Christmas would’ve been $3500-4000, it’s no wonder Niall had to go back to work

It just seems like unnecessary travel when her wedding is going to be in Ireland and she will most likely have at least a few hen party’s/ days with her besties before the wedding in both Ireland and Australia.

Seems excessive. I suppose she wants to get back to hubby too. Very tough in fairness what they are going through. I'd say she will be home soon again.

Gemma is extremely privileged to be in a position both financially and responsibility wise to be able to fly over and back like this tbh. Most of us would have to worry about our jobs and getting leave etc. to do so, never mind the expense of flying and being off work

She posted photos from before Christmas and one was outside the haematology ward. Blood cancer usually isn’t a great diagnosis, especially when older, so perhaps they were told to prepare for the worst but hopefully after treatment his outcome is looking better? Awful thing to go through regardless but I hope he makes a full recovery as it’s such a horrible disease.

But I do agree it is strange that she can afford both to not work & live a reasonable amazing lifestyle with all the partying, travel etc.
