It was on the NI Influencers thread, I thought twice about posting it here but people were speculating about baby loss etc so I figured it would be better to knock it on the head. I hope they’re doing ok, I lost my own Dad recently, it’s shattering

those who have unfortunately went through it will know it’s the hardest timeMy husband has been diagnosed recently with cancer and is going through chemotherapy and my children are 21 and 19 and it’s has completely flooded us especially my oldest we never thought once it was cancer when we was attending appointments it was the last thing on our minds everything is changed and nothing will ever be the same again.. so hopefully Gemma can get home and spend time with her loved ones before it’s to late
Aw thank you long road in front but everyday we r praying that its a easy one.. it’s very silly off me but I knew cancer was real but not till it hit me did I realise how many families it effects and seeing children and teenagers getting treatments did I realise how bad it is ..Sorry to hear this

No I haven’t seen her post him in a while. Hope everything is ok with them two as it can be quite hard dealing with family issues after just getting married would be straining on the relationship. It’s not like him to not travel with her
I was thinking that but he does seem very close to her family I could imagine it will hit him very hard to? Maybe he is working away for better money could be why he isn’t around?
Not followed her for a while but her TikTok came up on my FYP page & saw she coming home,came herr to see why.Thats very sad about her Dad,glad she got home to be with her family such a tough time.
I mean he is working for two of them and has been for a long time. He can't take time off otherwise they'd be on the breadline.
has she acknowledged her dad is sick or anything? Or has she mentioned why she’s just home to spend time with family?
Lots of the construction sites close for a few weeks into Jan after Christmas, so maybe he is working until closer to Christmas then flying home separately. He does seem to be close to her family so I imagine if it’s true her Dad is sick, he will want to be there to support the family.
She said she was going to hospital during the day god give them the strength they need right now, hoping her father will get better or maybe we wrong and it’s not a matter of weeks
She said she was going "to do her stint" in hospital. Wouldn't refer to caring or sitting with my sick father like that
I'd use the term stint at times. Just another way of saying take your turn to sit with somebody. Maybe it's a tyrone thing but it's not meant in a bad way. Everyone takes your stint so whoever is sick is never alone.. I do know what you mean though, I'd use it more if somebody wasn't aware your there. As in no real benefit for the sick person cos they don't even know your about but you do it for yourself and your family knowing they have company! More likely to use it too if if your weeks or months into the daily visits as it is absolutely mentally and physically draining!
Does anyone else think it’s strange that Gemma keeps posting about going to the hospital yet hasn’t actually spoken about it. I know she doesn’t have to address it, it’s obviously private and hard for her. But why keep posting stories about being in the hospital. It’s like checking in on Facebook. I don’t know, it just seems very attention seeking, I’m sure she could put that stuff in a private story for her friends and family who are aware of what’s going on 
God it annoys me how they will promote anything for a bit of money.
