I know she’s only said they’re going home “very soon” so don’t know the date but am I the only one who thinks it’s mad she’s booked her flights before she’s got the baby’s birth certificate back never mind applied for a passport?

Yes there can be a backlog on the birth certs alone, I think my friend was waiting over a month for their baby recently and there’s no way to rush it. At least the Australian passport you can pay extra for an urgent one. You’d hope she isn’t planning to travel until the baby has had her 6 weeks vaccinations and had an appropriate time for them to be effective though because planes are cesspits. My kids always end up sick getting off long haul flights

The reality of motherhood is hitting Gem 🤣🤣🤣 lucky she has so many friends around on a week day to leave her 2 week old newborn with so she can continue to go get her hair and nails done though 🙈

Taking her newborn on a plane next week before she’s even had her 6 weeks vaccinations. A lot of people don’t bring newborns out or allow many or any visitors until the 6 weeks vacs and here’s Gemma taking her on a huge long distance flight through multiple countries/ strains of flu and viruses. What is the rush to travel when the baby is 4 weeks old 🙈 Having seen my friend’s newborn in NICU because they got RSV in their first month due to older siblings in daycare, I can’t comprehend why you would take a needless risk

I guess she wants her home to meet her family since they didn’t get to come over
Never hear her talk about her dad anymore, I can only assume he is doing well and recovering thankfully

Fair enough but would it have killed her to wait another 2-3 weeks for her child to be vaccinated 🙈

She spoke about her mom coming over just after she gave birth. Then she suddenly wasn’t coming over but she was going to go home with baby. I assumed her Dad may have taken ill again hence the rush back home.

I think her mum didn’t come because she’d be travelling on her own with everything going on so maybe the flights got cancelled? I’d say there’s just a rush to go home while the baby’s still a newborn. She probably will enjoy bragging her baby travelled to Ireland at weeks old too lol

Oh my! Why oh why do these influencers seem to be incapable of actually using carriers safely? That baby is way too small and is at suffocation risk being in that carrier. Gemma babies head must be high enough for you to kiss and babies earlobe must clear the top of carrier - please do not use these, especially as you rush through an airport. Read the manual and watch some videos on correct & safe fittings!

Sinead has arrived home as well and said “not for the best circumstances”, hopefully it’s not Gemma’s dad and he’s got to meet the baby that would be awful

I’d be more so assuming it’s probably someone/something in her own family???

Why did she act like going home with the baby was a rash decision/ unplanned thing because her Mum’s trip over was cancelled due to the flights/war? She hardly just got added to the bridal party for her brother’s wedding 3 or 4 weeks out 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

Very risky bringing an unvaccinated baby on a 24 hour flight through multiple countries and to a wedding within a week of landing and still not protected by vaccines.
