Spot on: he has. His content is very much of a muchness tbf.When he was a kid, pub food was absolutely awful. It’s not like he’s Jamie Oliver.He looks like he was a doorman/porter. Nothing wrong with that, but this guy has not had a full career of eating and knowing good food. He has just found a niche and making money from it.

Just had a gander and the “rudest chippy” review has over 1.1 million views, all the others have about 200k -300k ish. The odd one with “that man “, maybe up to 500k views. Yeah… totally off him now.

Fully agree. Listening to him take 25 minutes to say what could be said in about 2 minutes max. Boring.
I have found that Greeno Eats knows much more about food and wine etc than Gary.
Greeno gives very good reviews over all. And he doesn't pretend he isn't making any money from youtube the way Gary does.

The late Mr L would certainly agree, as do I these days. I used to watch when I was eating a meal in front of the Gogglebox, but heck, his increased output is boring. Also, if he's swanning off here and there, who's looking after Old Ma Eats, the mum he's supposed to be the main carer for?
His videos with Danny are crap.

He honestly knows very little about food apart from experience eating at a lot of places. I've only really discovered him via Danny the idiot, and at least Danny doesn't make out he knows anything about food apart from liking eating it. I notice he mainly just lets Danny speak, and then has absolutely zero to add to the conversation. It's all "quality ingredients", "a good cut of beef", or "expertly cooked". 
I have no idea how he got popular apart from a load of gammons following him.
And yes, @ChickenLicking is right: you can't be a main carer and be out as much as he is scoffing his face.

I get a bit tired of "the cameraman" nonsense also - he's always saying the cameraman (his son) will be revealed on the vlog but don't think it has happened yet. I could be wrong as I stopped watching a while ago. I prefer Greeno now as Gary became a bit too silly.
Agree that Gary cannot be doing much caring for his mother nowadays.
Gary must be making A LOT of money from his channel but seems to indicate he doesn't which is not true. Don't know why as he has certainly earned the money with a wildly successful show.

I've never seen 'the cameraman' on screen either. He must be living off of his father's earnings as it's a huge time commitment for someone with a FT job.
Maybe Old Ma Eats is propped up with a Pot Noodle and a copy of her son's book?

I was so bored watching it, I was doing the dishes waiting for the Chef part. Glad his tomato was juicy, not raw 🥱. Who wants to see him /anyone ..eating a mixed grill at Harvester 
Suppose the only way he can make it look interesting is to drag the workers into it and put a “I approached the chef “ angle on the video heading to spark some interest 
I don't see the point of doing those sort of chains any more, it's not going to magically become value for money in the period since the last review...
He was so patronising to that chef who was actually the manager. Like he needed to be told he cooked the food right. Chef looked at him like he was a complete idiot. Which he is. Who can I blame for finding this twit.
