I have found that Greeno Eats knows much more about food and wine etc than Gary.
Greeno gives very good reviews over all. And he doesn't pretend he isn't making any money from youtube the way Gary does.
If only he would stop pushing up his glasses all the time - it's really irritating!

Greeno is indeed more knowledgable. Oh dear, that's all that I'm going to look for now.

I do wonder how he'd respond to if he was asked now as i think his 'i dont get paid' videos were over a year ago now and im pretty sure legally you have to disclose if you do

I wonder if he would try and find a legal way to fudge his words to say he doesn’t get paid for reviews but the restaurants pay him to come in and eat but that doesn’t affect his ratings. Pure speculation on my part.

i was tempted to comment when he said that 'sure its not a big camera or production but it looks more like a hidden camera the likes of which would be used on prank shows or for who knows what other nefarious purposes'

I just tried to watch the £350 burger video,Dear God. I am cringing, It’s like watching (an unfunny) Alan Partridge with Tim nice but dim. He just got the owner to try a chip and mashed potato together sniggering away like infantile school boys, we’re mad we are flipping crazy we are.Brain dead nonsense.

I liked gary before he got friendly with danny hes now turned into danny 2.0. One is bad enough

i do find it weird that the influence seems to have happened that way around

Although he says he doesn't make much money from Youtube! Wonder why some vloggers say this as others with not that many subscribers live very well from their channels. Travel Trolls, Butlers Empire Greeno to name a few. Maybe Gary feels uncomfortable making so much money?

Maybe he's charging for reviews like Danny and that Fat Tory Boy?

Think that's the first time i've seen him do an ad like that in any of his videos that is not a youtube injected one.

I haven't seen any previous obvious ads either.

id like to know what kind of footfall increase you get from a review from an influencer like Gary or Danny. It must work for some places, but that place in Brentford said they came for the free food then business dried up again.

Latest vid.. Reported for salmonella , right but not by you Gary, in fact a case in 2024…which when you click on it , says in tiny writing, the facts, 7 people taken ill and Comments saying thanks for all that you do! He’s put in comments, he’s lucky and thinks they’ve sorted the issues out. Didn’t watch it past that, only watching to see what they will come up with, sink to next.. you would click on the video thinking he’s reported them but no.and if he says he’s trying to help them cos he thinks they’ve sorted it, well that headline isn’t going to help them is it.someone has suggested he could review hospital food after it.

Just had a gander and the “rudest chippy” review has over 1.1 million views, all the others have about 200k -300k ish. The odd one with “that man “, maybe up to 500k views. Yeah… totally off him now.

I used to like him (ish) up until he gave the Chinese woman £500 on camera to look like a good Samaritan ( I've just said this on RMT thread, I didn't realise Gary had his own)

he's done it before but not quite on that scale, the times i remember were the £1 meal steak food truck paying for 20 meals or something and making a donation to the RNLI who happened to have a pair collecting there. Not to mention a point of always tipping if there was no service charge etc

I've never seen 'the cameraman' on screen either. He must be living off of his father's earnings as it's a huge time commitment for someone with a FT job.

Maybe Old Ma Eats is propped up with a Pot Noodle and a copy of her son's book?

I'm thinking they might be doing a UK roadtrip Weekend at Bernie's remake with Ma Eats in the back of Danny's Van.
