Why on earth did he go to that Steak House and order that platter for 8-10 people? He said he was bringing it all back for his mates in his local (mmmm..lovely and cold ). Why didn’t he bring all his “collaborators” / “special guests”..with him and eat all the food there (as it’s meant to be) 🫠

It’s making me wonder about the likes of Gordon, Rick etc. Gordon’s people wouldn’t let him film in the last place?
Also, that palace place and the food poisoning one, can’t see them wanting any sort of attention!
Has he done anymore banking ads since that big one he done a while back?
It does make me look back and wonder why he goes so overboard with what is clearly not that amazing, interesting.

Just watched the first few minutes of Gary and Danny at the UKs most expensive fish and chips, honestly who falls for this shite. Danny spent the first 10 mins complaining about everything, it's HESTON BLUMENTHAL not a chippy tea up north FFS. I couldn't watch anymore, I've tried this dish at the Hinds Head and it was worth every penny. It's so lazy just to slag it off because it's expensive etc..

which is all the pair of them and hannah do anymore, its easy click/ rage bait and theyve decided thats the audience they want to cultivate, utter sell outs

For some reason they did, comments were full of it. He repeated his threat to quit, maybe that was it, even though he's said that before and never done it.

most recently i believe he's said he's stopping this channel at the end of the year and starting a new one only focusing on small indipendent businesses but i'm not holding my breath

after my rant yesterday I did actually consider whether its actually his son who's making all the titles and telling Gary to do all this ragebait and dumb thumbnail stuff... it would make sense to me, what guy of garys age actually knows about ragebaiting and those sorts of things, whereas a guy his sons age? adds up way better

I 100% believe he gets paid for his reviews, I also believe his 'dad jokes' thing is a persona and I think he's a nasty piece of work off camera.

I do wonder how he'd respond to if he was asked now as i think his 'i dont get paid' videos were over a year ago now and im pretty sure legally you have to disclose if you do

I also refused to watch it but just a negative title will give people preconceived ideas and we all know how reluctant people are to change their minds in any way thus even if they dont watch the video hundreds of thousands of people will think negatively of the restaurant by default

For someone who claims to have been in the industry for many years, I find his vocabulary to describe the food extremely limited and repetitive. But then again they are all the same, and not actual foodies.

Yes, you're absolutely right - he's not the most eloquent of blokes. I reckon that he was a pub manager and didn't do much with the food size of things.

I just saw dannys latest solo video on my for you page, what is the pleb doing he's literally surrounded by much nicer outdoor dining tables and chairs, but he's put up his cheap tacky pop up thing literally right next to them im once again speechless

I also saw their latest joint video is eating from 'someones house', surely thats not the same one gary just did? the laziness is dumbfounding... couldnt even schedule the release a few videos apart?

No it was two different places. Not sure why he chose to do the review with Danny in a dirty alleyway of course, though thats about right for them.

I watched a couple of his videos after seeing them all do the Fallow collaboration. Found him pretty inoffensive in all aspects. Is pretty influenceresque but feel that can be looked over if there arent other issues

He is inoffensive but I automatically flinch at very obvious posh boys speaking as if they're from 'the hood' - his constant use of 'bruv' is a particular irritant. Some of his videos can be overly long, too - 20 minutes tops is more than enough but 40+ and I'm definitely not watching!
