This is exactly it. He wants to be sick. It’s not only as an excuse for how he had messed up his entire life, it’s also for the attention and sympathy.

I don’t wish it to happen, but one day he may have something truly chronic and will wish for those days where he was not suffering.
His inactive lifestyle and poor posture makes it highly likely something will happen to him at somepoint

Anyone watched Gary’s haul? How the hell does he afford all this? I’ve been told I’m not eligible for benefits I’m out of work and on antidepressants and have problems with my legs that I can’t stand for long. Does he get anything from YouTube ? It’s actually ridiculous how much he spends

I think time is somewhat altered for people who go so often. Even as a viewer you tend to ignore months/seasons/years and think “2 trips ago” “sometime after the cruise but before the AK stay” They measure life in Disney trips too which is why I think Victoria hasn’t yet realised how long she’s been in the spare room and collapsed with the fright of what her life has become. Same with Gary. They have the same number of hours in their day as Presidents and Nobel prize winners with zero commitments and yet they can’t control one simple thing like exercising for 30 minutes or uploading consistently. A walk every day cure most of his physical problems and really help with mental problems….maybe that’s why he won’t do it…What do they say? Change begins at the end of your comfort zone? Think that’s it and applies to the sad bubble a little of these grown people are in running back to Orlando to do the same things over and over.

He's completely removed from reality. 41 years old and he's probably never had to worry about rent, paying bills, holding a job, or any of the usual stressors of life. I actually pity him. How on earth will he cope when his parents are no longer around to coddle him?

On Insta live and he’s just said he’s had a busy day:
Editing his haul
Giving his neice and nephew presents
Going to the Post Office to post gifts (probably to Boregon Tate)

after a 10 hour day in the office and now housework / looking after my child - I’m done. He’s so far from reality, he’s living the life of a Mickey plush

If anyone has the time, I'd love to know how much everything in that video cost all together

Watching him in his bedroom, creaming over Disney pins is actually real depression fuel for me.
Around 50 new pins (hundreds in £ with the insane exchange rate) while his parents are probably downstairs worrying over the next electric bill.

Also added ailments to his collections mentioning; nut allergy, dairy intolerance, cocoa intolerance and the mother of them all… ANXIETY (clutches his toy mickey for that)

All of which millions of people have and yet they still function has independent adults and also hold down jobs. This isn't the 70s, the majority of employers are supportive of ailments and disabilities, I've seen nothing from him that indicates he can't work in some capacity

The pin haul would be anywhere between £450-£650 depending on what pins he bought as they are anywhere between $13+

Absolutely disgusting when some of us (who work full time) are worrying about the possibility that come Spring our utility bills could be around this 😤. Ask us about our anxiety Gary…..

I listened to his live while doing some housework just now and it is infuriating.

can’t have the heating on because his throat is too sensitive and it dries it out

got pissed off that funko pop sent him a mickey funko but the sticker on the front’s corner had slightly lifted so he has emailed them to complain and they will send him a new sticker.

said he downplays his illnesses so then people see that he’s fine and literally said ‘They don’t see me sleeping for 4 days afterwards with my legs in the air trying to recover from Disney’ Gary, you’re exhausted because it’s the only activity you do!

mentions panicking and anxiety every other sentence… he gets anxiety over fans seeing him in swimwear, having food in his teeth…. Mate, that’s not anxiety, you’re self conscious like everyone else. Try worrying over a bill or meeting a deadline.

Edit: forgot to add - he also said the last trip sometimes felt like an actual holiday LOL

LOL so true. I feel that self consciousness every morning when I have to face another day of 1:1s with my manager, calls with clients (who aren't always happy), and meetings with the 'suits' who axed 10% of us recently. I really don't enjoy it and I have the same worries 'how do I look, how do I sound, are they judging me blah blah But what can I do? if I don't show up every day I don't have any money and I'll be back home on £80 a week or whatever they'd give a single person like me who has parents with a spare room...Then I'd have all the same self little anxieties but I'd be depressed and broke to boot.

Does he realise that everyone feels like this sometimes? His parents have those feelings but had they sat in their rooms he wouldn't have a bed to lie in for days or food delivered to his door or pin money to blow in Orlando. He thinks he's very unique when we can all relate. We just have to suck it up to feed ourselves and our families.

After 2 weeks in Disney, id love to have the opportunity to have 4 days in my bed. Not saying id want truly crippling depression like some folks who are bed/home ridden but Gary doesn’t have this, he can come and go as he pleases when it takes his fancy. He can go into central London, Centre Parks, busy airports and Orlando. Gary is just a man of leisure and this lifestyle is surely making his mental health and leg problems worse.

I hope if he has any income - he pays some form of rent to his parents as if he can spend £hundreds every couple of months on pins, funkos and Nuimos, he can contribute to their utilities.

I honestly don’t think he does because Adam said that Gary never even buys his own food at home. It disgusts me.

What I’m earth will he do when his parents are no longer able to fund him. And I know he has Adam at this time but I think once Adam finds a boyf (if this isn’t Gary), then there won’t be so many trips to Orlando with Ghosty C.
In time Adam will surely Ghosty Gary 👻

Gary actually said yesterday that one day it’ll get too much for him and Adam will have to use someone else (like Beth I think he said?). As if only Adam is benefiting from their relationship.

Honestly, then what will he do then? Where will his money come from?

There have been times (and still are sometimes) in my life when I wanted to pull up drawbridge or take easy way out in life. I have anxiety, and it would be so easy to have not faced demons or let others look after me but you know what, seeing Gary makes me so bleeping glad I didn't and live independently, even with days when I have to take massive deep breath to leave the house

Not me going to Disney and barely coming back with a t-shirt because I can't afford it and watching Gary's haul, I have to be doing something wrong 💀

The parents are enablers and are funding the shopping because even if he got every benefit going he still would struggle to come up with the money he spent on this haul.

I do understand why/how his parents let it get to this point. I know some real life Garys but at his age it’s no longer cute and I agree with the person who said that it’s not 1980 anymore. There are work from home jobs out there that pay well. There are employers who will hire people who need accommodations. There is funding for education. His parents would need to be cruel to he kind and pull out the rug but tbh I’ve never known a family to do this. I image they fear for the “child’s” life in the short term. The big fear is that the “child” would melt down at being forced to pay rent/do a course/look for a job and they’d do something silly.
