I wonder if it’s because he takes so many (he said it’s something like 5000 per trip) that when he gets home he goes through the process of backing them up and then sorting through them. Either way, it’s not normal in 2023

Part of me understands the idea of pin trading, because that gets to be a social activity, especially if you have one character/ride you're really into. But I doubt Gary is trading them, since I assume his overwhelming anxiety would preclude him from approaching a stranger.

I believe he’s used the disability access services in Disneyland Paris which require specific proof of a disability (unlike the USA who have a don’t ask rule). For him and Adam to have used the service they would have needed proof of disability benefits or a doctors note (though that is no longer accepted since Paris tightened up on acceptable proof). But at a minimum he was able to get that for previous “series”.

There are two passes available. One you need a full on Disabled badge, the other a Dr's letter would suffice. And in my experience of having a genuine letter, it would be more than easy to fake a letter as they don't know what a genuine NHS letter should look like.

I sort of get if you were to collect figurines or something and have them scattered around your house (although that wouldn’t be my personal aesthetic whatsoever), put what is the point of “collecting” something purely to shove it in some drawer or container?

Tbf I collect stuff that I don't have on show and are in storage boxes. I'm a bit of a completest and it becomes a habit and it's nice to know you have them. Go through them occasionally etc.
