exactly. The ungratefulness with his free experiences, the entitlement with his parents, looking down on people who work, saying we don’t have lives. Whilst living off the system we’re paying for. With his reach he could have his own ongoing YT channel and try to actually make an income.

Yeah. that's what gets me. He had a 12 year olds understanding of money. How hard it is to earn it, what the average person makes and what they have to do to get it and then just how expensive these things are that he's getting for free - well for content!

When they last went to Paris they were sorta looking down on it. 'Only' a jaunt to Paris for a few days. This California holiday was about 10K for a week - imagine him getting out of bed to earn that.

It’s people like him that stop genuine claimants that need help. Personally they should be given food stamps etc that way they can’t squander their money on shite.

I just finished his video and I am appalled. Gary’s habit has verred from “collecting” and into “hoarding”. Rabidly showing off paper plates he swiped from a restaurant and the post-it notes that the cleaner left them.

Why is The Long-Suffering Mrs Caplehorn enabling this nonsense? What must she think when he bursts through the door every 4 months with a suitcase full of shite?

I can’t decide which was the low point: the part where he said he owns black bags full of Mickey plushes or the part when he says that a Disney staff member gave him three children’s colouring books - one for his niece, one for his nephew and one for him!

I came back from Disneyland with a sweater and some ears with the money I worked for and that’s it. Cannot imagine treating money this way knowing someone else worked for it


  • Opens with ‘I haven’t been in 7 years so treated myself’ absolute twat. All you do is treat yourself in massive quantities with other people’s money. That’s seems to be your entire life’s purpose.
  • already talking about when he next goes to the US … entitled.
  • mentions new lens for his camera and that’s gonna be really expensive
  • Brogan bought the entire set of those Disney 100 pins in WDW already. The only difference is they say WDW instead of Disneyland. So he owns them all twice with just a small difference.
  • $30 on one pin!
  • He took a colouring book for kids?
  • He did a drawing of daisy and bought it back? Wtf
  • All those pins! Why? Does he realise they’re just made in a factory in china for 10p each?

The whole 'this is my last trip's just BS to gain sympathy. He won't give up free holidays unless he is forced to. Adam is a mug, Gary is completely using him and his entitled attitude is really showing through in last two trips. He could t give a fuck and isn't grateful at all

I just have images of 35 years into the future, with Gary’s niece and nephew (who by that point will be about 40, so probably with kids or even grandkids of their own) throwing all this stuff straight in the bin after Gary’s death.

Just what is he buying it for? It’s not even as if he’s displaying them or regularly reflecting on them. He’s just shoving it in a box and eagerly awaiting the hoard from his next trip or online shopping spree.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen the exterior (even in that iconic ‘documentary’ where that YouTuber lived with Gary) but I always imagine the Caplehorn household to look like Onslow’s place in Keeping Up Appearances:

Easy to find his full address if you just search his name and Orpington and it does look like that
Very modest house and car outside. I don’t think his parents are loaded. House is worth 200-300k.

What has he ever achieved in his life and when has he NOT treated himself?

I know he is an absolute useless bag of custard, but I can't help but feel sorry for the twat.

Imagine heading towards 50, never having had a job, living in your childhood bedroom and getting excited about being given a paper plate.

I agree, but his obnoxiousness and sheer lack of self awareness makes it so hard for sympathy to come through

He went double his budget - where did he get this money? Will be be washing dishes for the rest of the year to get the money from his mammy? And he hints he's going to America again...

He has shown his backyard and yes their house is exactly like Daisy and Onslows, most council houses are built from the same plan (even new builds estates are basically the same with a larger kitchen and more loos) so that's not surprising. And I have friends now getting 400K mortgages to buy one of them so he better get into the will and get that house lol I wouldn't think it's as shabby on the outside but his bedroom is on the way to Hoarders level.

My parents live in the same type of house and if you don't use something for 6 months my mam throws it out! No stacks of boxes or clutter allowed in her rooms!
