For the rest of us, the highlight of 2021 is seeing & hugging friends & family again, or finally getting vaccinated and being able to live a bit more; going out and about, maybe travelling. Or maybe it’s getting engaged or married, moving in with your partner or finding out your pregnant, maybe you found out a loved one is pregnant. Maybe your highlight is a huge achievement: landing your dream job, graduating from uni, reaching your goal weight, buying a house, making progress in therapy, smashing your exercise routine and getting fitter, volunteering for a charity, starting a business (lol an actual one)… the list goes on. Maybe your highlight of 2021 is actually getting LIFE SAVING surgery or medical intervention for a condition that was ruining your life.

Gabby’s highlight of 2021 is getting a private surgery on a beign growth that she loves to refer to as a tumour to freak everyone out. She is relishing this opportunity with glee, the way some of us relish the opportunity of a holiday or a day out!

Finally - on behalf of my father currently living out his final days due to terminal cancer, on behalf of my best friend’s mum who died in March from cancer, and on behalf of everyone on this thread who has been affected by cancer in some way: GABBY PLEASE FUCK OFF AND DO NO MENTION CANCER IN RELATION TO CLEMMIE AGAIN.
