Are they going to permanently live in Costa Rica? I haven’t kept up with them - I assume they are currently living in LA?
So we looked into this place before they announced they bought land. There are a ton of building regulations, including one about height. So they won't actually be able to build a proper tree house. I reckon they'll do a stilted house and say 'its what we dreamed of all along'
The plans have to be approved by the village council, not as free and breezy as they're making it out to be!
I haven't watched him in years I really liked him I think the last time I properly watched him was when he used to do cooking videos with his dad in-between his travels I know him an Raya re engaged now I think why I like so many people liked him out of the crop when they was coming though at the time the Zoella, Marcus Butler and alike he always struck me as the less flash an most down to earth if that is because he was that bit older I'm not sure
I used to follow this wellness lady called Mel Wells and she and her bloke moved to Costa Rica early last year and are friends with Louis and Raya so I wonder if they’re setting up a community there.

I remember his FoodForLouis channel, then he turned vegan. I forgot that Louis existed until I saw him and Raya's engagement video
@SimpleLifeinLondon this was before that. He used to be mates with Sam Pepper who was a guy who went on Big brother. They lived in a double decker bus and toured the uk. Search google live goldfish food for Louis and the article will come up. So cruel!
I just caught up on the videos on Raya and Louis channel. I generally enjoy their videos to be fair, but I just can't get over how dense they are sometimes. Raya was upset because a load of plates broke including her favourite mug. Yes, that's upsetting. But why on earth are they just loose in an unsecured cupboard in a moving vehicle driving on not great roads?! Use enamel plates, get a plate rack, put the elastic on the handles to make sure they can't fly open. Honestly, they should know this? They travel so much so I always expect them to have common sense but they sometimes do just the stupidest things. This was totally avoidable.
I really like the videos on their couples channel too!
I really feel for Raya sometimes.. Louis just doesn't care about anything.. whenever he gets into trouble (getting the car stuck in the river or getting arrested in tonight's vid..), his response is always "Raya's not happy" or "Raya's really upset." Dude, you're almost 40, use your brain.

Exactly. I have a feeling Raya is often upset and cross with Louis. He always seems to be running around trying to placate her. I'm sure living with him would be tricky, thouhg - he's a bit oblivious sometimes. They do seem to muddle along well together.
Anyone still watching Raya and Louis? Costa Rica seems to have been completely ditched, they are currently off for an “epic UK road trip”. We’ve watched a load of his videos over the years, he’s done some fantastic trips round India and Africa, seems a bit of a comedown to be doing the UK and asking people to make suggestions of where to go.
Did you see the video recently where they went to Costa Rica and (mainly) raya got upset because they were flattening the land ready for utilities and stuff to go in and thats why they left for a bit as they were so annoyed / upset they didn't know if they wanted to live there anymore or something? All seemed a bit overdramstic to me. Like of course there will need to be bits done to the whole land to make it a livable village or whatever the vibe they're going for is.
This thread just popped up and reminded me of Louis! Used to love him back in the day. Just subscribed to his and Raya's channel. They are so calm and chill. Where do they live now? I always wondered what the visa situation was since they're not from the same country.
I’m annoyed with them because every single video includes an ad now, and nothing is ever tagged. Giving Louis the benefit of the doubt, he hasn’t realised the rules have changed since he started. But this starts with the sponsor and is completely untagged. Louis, Raya, if you read this, you need to tag sponsored videos with #ad.
Did anyone see that Raya is pregnant?!
