Did anyone see his latest video about his ridiculous idea for driving his campervan across the US using only solar power? Someone in the comments explained the logistics and how he only has one way to physically be able to do it but there's Louis rambling on in the video about stopping places on the way to meet people etc.

Also, might just be me as I'm not really up to date with eco / energy efficiency etc but he's getting all the solar panels specifically made in China and shipped to california.... Surely that isn't great for the planet??
Unfortunately, more than 80% of all solar panels are produced in China. There is one company that produces them in the U.S. but I think the Chinese ones are significantly cheaper.

Also interesting, that Raya has left to be with her family in New York while he's spending December alone with this nonsense. I'm guessing that means they've given up creating a livable space somewhere and she'll have the baby in NYC and they'll stay there in one of her parents' properties.
Also wonder, if they'll ever mention their dog again who they've abandoned for the last 6 months.

They made a small child a feature in their gender reveal vlog. They are probably going to exploit the tit out of their own child and milk the baby and child content for all it's worth. :-(

I can’t watch Raya and Louis any more, looks like she has gone straight back into US rich princess instagram obsessive mode. Sorry but she’s not famous enough for her same-as-everyone-elses gender reveal to be interesting, and she has completely not read the room in terms of children’s online privacy.

I wonder how they will explain the Coasterr Reakurrr thing? They drove all through Central America to get there, then left after a few weeks seemingly never to return (I agree with the poster who said about the dog, how dare they get soppy about other people’s dogs when they abandoned theirs 😡) I wonder if she’s refused to go there till she has the baby or until the house is built.

Honestly, that's probably the smartest thing she could have done. A moldy bus and no running water is hardly the best option for a pregnant woman or a newborn. Especially, if they've got an option to stay in a proper house instead. They can move there once the baby is older and once they've got a house built.

I used to watch Louis' vlogs years ago, got a bit bored of the couple vlogs they do, so only really check back now and again. I was shocked that they were actively trying for a baby when they don't even have a secure home. That would have been one of the first things you would tick off before bringing a kid into the picture surely?

Are they gonna leave the baby with Raya's parents while they go swanning off back to Costa Rica to 'check on their future home'? Like they left the dog? Raya obviously wants to be a good mum, so you'd think safety and security (aka not being homeless) would be her main priority.

Bit of an idiotic move if you ask me, but hey ho.

I agree, but they clearly didn’t think of that beforehand. Try for a baby once you have somewhere to live….It shows either they are very thick, or all the talk of moving to CR was BS for the vlogs and they had no real intention of doing it.

They probably didn't expect Raya to become pregnant so quickly. I think it happened the first or second month she went off birth control. But yeah, they are really stupid.

I know people don't like having great expectations that things might happen quickly, but what if she also had a horrific pregnancy? Some women get it bad. Was she just going to lie down flat in a grotty bus for 9 months? I know they said they're a 'spontaneous couple' but I don't think this should be one of those times 😅

Travel vlogging is their main (only?) source of income. Imagine the stress of not being able to do that, not having a place to live, and dealing with a newborn on top of that. Ooft.

Very true and OK they aren’t the first and won’t be the last to have an imperfectly timed pregnancy, but it always amazes me when people who live their lives online don’t seem to Google some basic What Ifs!

Now Louis is off on a van journey on his own according to the Fun For Louis channel, let’s hope Raya is feeling fine and continues to do so, and/or has good family/friends to stay with. And gets used to being on her own while he gallivants around!

So they're moving to Brighton as the UK has better healthcare than the US and to be close to friends with kids.
I'm guessing they mean Zoe and Alfie. Does his friend Steve Booker live in Brighton too?
I hope his parents are prepared to soon be taking care of their dog who they'll abandon every time they get invited to a gifted luxury stay somewhere.

At least they've got a plan I guess. It makes sense to have the baby in the UK because it'll just be easier for everyone, and their finances. Where do his parents live? If it was close by they're probably terrified of being forced babysitters.

Renting a nice house in Brighton with a decent garden is going to be £££

Worthing, West Sussex, if his company's address is that of his parents. He said they live 40 minutes away from Brighton.

It's funny how they make out they're so adventurous and unconventional, so daring and free, and yet, when it comes down to it, they are as stuffy and bourgeois as the next person, maybe more so in Raya's case. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the baby is going to have a stable environment at least for a while, but it just goes to show how quickly they divert from their path and turn their back on everything they have been raving about for the last years. They are just tourists taking the scenic route, not trailblazers or adventurers.

They love connecting with nature... but only as long as the nature is warm and pleasant.

Ooft, so they're not in the clear yet then haha

Exactly! There's always some... middle-upper class element of what they end up doing? I suppose that's easy to do when you have the money though. It's definitely better for the baby, but yeah, I agree. Definitely a glorified tourist.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Will be interesting to find out what they plan about their children's education. Are they home schooling them in that culty Costa Rican eco community or will they send them to the posh boarding school Raya went to?

That’s not their address, it’s a business address used by a whole lot of YouTubers, think it might be an accountant or something. I think his folks live in Epsom, Surrey.

I've just watched the first two videos of that crossing the States in another stupid vehicle series.

That man is such an idiot.

And they should have sent the dog with Raya.

I just watched the video where they visit their land and camping bus and talk about their future plans. God, Raya walking around with her chic little handbag, gushing about inane things. She's out of place. There's no way she really wants this kind of life, not fully and authentically, just a little as a kind of enrichment and entertainment. I also find it a bit gross that they choose the people they want to live with according to their function, not according to how close they are or how much they love them. And the NHS doesn't need people, who could otherwise afford healthcare in the U.S., to scavenge off the free system. Just gross.
