I don't understand how they are getting the house sorted but seems surprised when the door to the bedroom isn't where they wanted it. And now they don't think they can fit a bed bigger than a king in the bedroom.
It’s because the bedroom was such an after thought. What did they expect to fit in the bus?

I think it’s hilarious in their intro when Louis says “we sold everything” and there they are pictures with the most luggage I’ve ever seen anyone move with 😂

They also didn't sell "everything". Louis' parents' van and a storage unit are filled to the brim with their tat on top of the mountains of luggage they brought with them.

Has anyone seen the new video? They have completely changed the house. The architect must be going crazy in every meeting with them.

I still don't know how they can expect to move in in two months.

my verdict on that was that they know that! And it’s almost rage bait but just to keep us hooked with soon to be click bait titles every week about ‘will we be ready?!’ It’s an excuse for engagement farming

How can they keep doing this?! I get a few tweaks might pop up after you've finalised the general layout but they are literally changing the whole layout, how many stories, how many bedrooms, bathrooms etc etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the architect drops them! I can just see now if things aren't how they want it, they will blame the language barrier or something. It won't be Raya and Louis fault of course...

Why didn't they draw out a few options or make some houses on the Sims or something? !

I know, it's a whole new house now the bus is gone. Three new rooms downstairs and upstairs - 6 new rooms!! My fav bit was when they walked into the bedroom and Louis was looking for something that had been done and then realized it had been done wrong 😂

They seemed like they were short on money before so I've no idea where this new cash is coming from. And they haven't even tackled the "garden" which is currently completely unsafe for the kids.

The look on the builders face when raya said she wanted a 3rd bathroom 🫢

they go and visit “actual” eco homes with people with a toilet in their bedroom and now they want 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, an office each for all that work they do and so much more 🫢

also did they not say years ago that this wasn’t going to be their main home? It was going to eventually be a guest home? It sounds it

I mean to be fair to them, last week the house only had 1 bedroom and now they are adding multiple ones plus a gym and bathroom 😂😂😂 but yeah this was meant to be the smaller house but I think they changed their mind on that a long time ago and just havent said.

The builders must be like wtf. Who adds a whole new section to the house all of a sudden?! And you can clearly tell they are getting on each other's nerves and have totally different views on what th house should be like.

So I hadn't actually watched the full video when I commented so I see Louis did do some sort of 3d render but still ! You can tell the architects/ construction team are getting frustrated. Someone commented on the video saying something along the lines of " your architects deserve a gift when they're done" and Raya replied saying " their gift is our life savings" 🙈

Yeah it was the plug sockets wasn't it? He walked in like "ooh the sockets are in ... Oh they've done it wrong ".

The fact they are thinking about not insulating a metal roof properly in a country where it rains so much... It will be ridiculously loud in the bedrooms.

I also heard Louis say they've given up the lease to wherever they're renting so have to be in the new house by June 1st... I know the build does seem to be going up quite quickly , but that still seems like a fairly soon time to be living in it considering they haven't even finalised the actual layout yet!

Ah, yes. The words of a woman who grew up with a silver spoon and has never done any physical labor in all her life.

Of course she thinks that these workers on minimum wage should just effortlessly adapt to princess Raya changing her mind of the layout weekly, undoing their previous work.

After all, she's paying with the hard earned money that their patrons send them while she's chilling in the pool, watching the hired help tend to the crop, so she can show up on Tuesday with a shopping bag and collect her "home grown" veg and fruit.

On the Fun For Louis channel he’s done what looks like a Costa Rica promo video to advertise the Google 360 camera. It’s quite something. Apparently Alegria is improving the land compared to what the locals did which was depriving and draining the land by grazing their cattle on it 🤔 And the usual, every other word is “community”.

Lucky a US millionaire was there to sort their country out for them eh (Steve Alegria not Louis)

I 😆 at their video comments when people ask about the Alegria “community” all working on the land together. No mate. The Alegria residents are expat jetset millionaires buying/building holiday homes and employing locals as builders, farmers and nannies. HTH.

Of course the cattle keeping the grass short on uneven terrain where no machine could get to is the enemy.
Not the millionaires cutting down decades old trees and building concrete blocks that they call tree houses with all the toxic waste going straight in the water system. And all that lovely sewage, the carbon footprint from flying back and forth and needing a car to get around the "eco community". I'm sure the local wildlife is also thriving with all the construction noise and humans everywhere. What a gift to nature Algeria is.

She wants to throw parties when girls get their period. Because there’s shame around it. No there isn’t???? Who on earth is shaming girls for getting their periods! If anything you were laughed at for not getting it early/at the same age as your mates/ this just rubs in the stigma when you don’t get it ‘on time’ cos you won’t have had your party yet. How odd.

I definitely did not want a party when I got mine. I'm sure lots of girls would hate this.

Yes with everybody telling you 'ahh you are a woman now!' We should leave young girls alone to process this transition and all the contradiction it entails. Make it sure there is nothing shameful about periods doesn't mean that the identity of a young woman should revolve around her capacity of having children or not.

Doesn’t Costa Rica, as a Latin American country, have quinceañeara, the celebration of the 15th birthday, as a rite of passage?
Good news Raya, nobody was waiting for you to invent this, it already exists, why don’t you educate yourself about where you live instead of making your own cult rules with the menopausal Alegrians.

Oh and don’t borrow trouble from the menopause, concentrate on recovering from your fairly recent birth. You’ll be menopausal soon enough!
