Look how much she's aged in 5 years. Maybe living off smoothies and juices with the rare pig out on a vegetables wasn't a good idea! she makes most of her money selling the crappy diet to young girls.

She clearly binges on food other than veg etc, I remember a couple of years ago she put on quite a lot of weight ina short time then did a water fast for ages, how would that weight gain really be possible from just raw food?

Check out the YouTuber Unnatural Vegan, she has a lot to say about Kristina, her diet and all round shadiness

She orbits a planet which is not our own. The rest of her family seem sweet though.

There was an appalling video where this poor dog had been hit by a car and suffered a nasty fracture - Kristina wouldn't accept that putting the animal to sleep was the kindest option; she seemed to be of the opinion that you could just fly a specialist doggy spinal surgeon out of nowhere, so the poor little dog must have suffered extra long because this sheltered brat couldn't put her own ego aside.

What I always found crazy was her story about before being raw vegan she was really unwell, looked awful etc and someone came up to her in a supermarket (who was raw vegan ) and asked her if she was, so she looked awful and someone equated that with being raw vegan?

Her story has changed A LOT throughout the years. At first it was that she had dealt with hyperglycemia pre-raw days. Then she started saying she was pre-diabetic (presumably equated from a/some hyperglycemic spells?), and now she says she WAS type 2 diabetic. I'm thinking she measured slightly above average once because she ate too much sugar or something and now she's claiming that it was type 2 diabetes. I'd bet my first born no real medical doctor ever diagnosed her with diabetes. And that guy who supposedly came up to her in whole foods is a certified creep and neo-nazi.

I don't think she looks AS old as some people like to make out, but I don't think her excessive sugar intake (from fruit or not), obsessive exercise, and spending time in the sun has done her any favors.

I think (as with other raw vegans ) the damage will become clear when they are Middle Aged in terms of osteoporosis etc.. who is the guy who came up to her?

I didn't think she looked that bad until I realised she's only 32. She's been known for photoshopping her pictures to be taller and slimmer for a while.

But if she's looking that bad with all her organic fruit and vegetables how bad will the followers look??

Her diet is bonkers, she talks about a salad with sweetcorn as being indulgent and gives tips to tell people how to say no to homemade soup. She's a dangerous woman.

What I think is most ridiculous is her making “pizza” or whether else out of fruit in a way that vaguely looks like pizza because of the colours but otherwise bears no similarity

She looks terrible now, especially compared to her before photo. She looked like an attractive woman in her mid to late 20s before, and now looks like a woman approaching 40 who sells herbalife to her unsuspecting family members.

I'm not a vegan and I apologize if anyone is here and if my following comment offends them, but the whole idea of being completely vegan has never seemed healthy or right to me. A diet where you cannot get all your essential vitamins and amino acids from food alone, forcing you to take supplements, is not a proper diet and it breaks my heart to see people, especially kids and teens who are still growing, fall into this trap.

Not a vegan, but do eat plant based meals several times a week. I do believe as long as you supplement B12 and read up on nutrition, you can have a healthy nutritious diet. The way Kristina does it is madness.

Thank you for the insight! I'm all for eating less meat and consuming less animal-based products but for people who are true vegans, as you said, it would mean that they need to have at least a B12 supplement. And not to come off as patronizing, but I'm not confident that many young viewers, especially teenagers, would be able to do this in a healthy way and maintain a diet that ensured they got everything they needed.

I also think these raw + vegan diets haven't been around nearly long enough for us to understand the implications behind them. Who knows what kind of impact they can have on the human body in your old age (or in kids if they start early). In some European countries, the government will jail parents who force feed their children a vegan diet after numerous cases of children who haven't developed properly with such a diet, which makes me think that there are either fundamental issues with being vegan or it's very difficult for the average consumer to follow this and get all the nutrients they need.

I think vegan itself can be fine, but eating nothing cooked is madness, legumes etc can’t be eaten raw and some things like tomatoes actually are better for you cooked as you absorb more nutrients

I have byen watching some of Vegan Deterioration (an ex-vegan) youtube videos once in a while, from what I remember people who went raw can have major teeth issues because they are only eating fruit aka sugar. Also their jaws get smaller because they don't chew food, they mostly eat smoothies, soups etc. It's quite scary to see pictures of before and after, a lot of people age quite significantly because they don't get all the nutrients they need.

On the diabetes issue, my father has diabetes 2 because he likes to eat fruit, cake, and basically all kinds of food. He can eat like 5-7 bananas a day. When he got diagnosed with diabetes the doctor told him that he was only allowed half a banana or an apple a day. He does not really listen to that advice, but my mom has been pretty strict, and his is luckily been doing great health wise. So I don't really believe her story of being diabetic type 2, her diet could have made her very ill or maybe she she's been ignoring the warning signals her body has been showcasing.

Also, I once saw someone attempting to eate a full days worth of Kristinas meals and it was very expensive and time consuming.

I vaguely remember her responding to the cost criticism by saying about buying from coops etc which is not realistic for most people. I assume she is from a well off family’s?

I swear to God a lot of these raw food, vegan bloggers are using veganism to hide an eating disorder or some serious issues with food.

I don't think she looks that terrible. She looks like someone overworked and tired - maybe a few years older than she actually is (33 google says). However she's not a glowing recommendation to live off $300 a week organic fruit and vegetables from your local coop. She's another one promising the world from a diet that makes people sick trying to stick to it. I've no issues with a smoothie or a sprout salad. But to say that's all you can eat and demonising some brown rice or lentils is so harmful.

I think she’s going to stop being raw soon, she keeps sharing fotos of vegan cooked food, and I hope she does. This diet is doing nothing for her health
