I think so too. I couldn’t imagine loving it the way I do if I didn’t know how much they loved each other and fought for things as a unit
100%. I was never a massive SATC fan but I have watched all the episodes and the two films, if I ever see any of it now I feel like it’s really spoilt by knowing how unhappy Kim Catrall was and how the relationships between the actors was so strained. I can’t buy their friendships on screen as much, but with the six Friends it never enters my head that they didn’t genuinely get on. Ok they may have drifted after the program and didn’t stay in each other’s lives daily, but the bond was clearly still there.

Friends is the only show I can watch over and over again. I have watched all episodes many times but I never get sick of them. I love it 💖

I know that he wanted to be remembered for his work with other addicts, but the ability to make people laugh is a rare and special gift, and was of no less worth than his charitable endeavours.
More so than ever, we need to try to find humour in our lives, and the fact that a group of total strangers online are still smiling at his performances and at his impeccable comic timing, is a tribute to his talent. The fact that he turned up for work, and (as far as I'm aware), never missed a single day's filming is also a testament to his character. He may not remember whole chunks of his work life, but he still showed up and he still made us laugh, he must have felt absolutely dreadful at some of those recordings.

You’re so right we’ve seen actors leave shows because of their struggles but he remained so dedicated to finishing the series even though he struggled. I can’t imagine what the show would’ve been like if Chandler had left. Praise to MP for showing up everyday even on days he was in rehab and putting on a bloody good performance. The reason Chandler excelled so well is because it was the embodiment of MP, the jokes were his and it showed.
The fact that straight after they finished filming Monica and Chandler's wedding, he was driven straight back to rehab is commendable in itself.
He was a fantastic actor especially to carry on in what must have been so hard for him. I know he wanted to be remembered for so many other things but his friend's character is an Icon and even more so when you know the struggles he had going on inside himself throughout the series. Totally agree with you, I don't think anyone else could have pulled Chandler and the jokes just quite as well as MP did. Chandler was made for him.
