I adore Rachel and Chandlers friendship and the cheesecake episode was one of the best

Same! A seriously underused relationship. One of my favourites was when he was seeing her boss and she found him in her office

Rewatched the reunion and I’ve got to say it was so refreshing to see a cast of 6 people who you could tell genuinely had so much love and care for each other, even after years had passed. They snapped right back into being back in that situation and it was as if no time had passed. The love we saw they had for each other on that reunion tells me just how much they must be hurting right now. It was sad how different Matthew was compared to his old jokey self, he was more of an observer and it’s a shame that he had been through so much. I truly hope he’s at peace.
I guess it brings so much peace knowing that friends was filmed based on so much love and support between all the cast which is why I think the show is as successful as it still is. The chemistry all the characters have reflects the reality they were living. I think this will hurt for a while.

I am so sad to hear of Matthew's death. The thing about Friends is, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, that all six of them have been part of my life for so long. No matter what is happening in my life, I can tune into their lives and they will make me laugh. They are a constant. Today it really feels like one of my own friends have passed away and I can't even think about how the other five must be feeling today. I dread their statements coming out as they will make me cry. Thankfully, Matthew Perry gave us the comedy wonder that is Chandler and we will always remember him as such. As sad as it is, I have still been able to laugh at some of his best lines being shared.

One of my favourites is when Richard turns up just before Chandler proposes and he goes to Richard's apartment and says "It was working until you showed up... you big tree!" never fails to make me laugh, and then he forgets the ring.

I’ve gone through stages of which of the boys were my favourite, but it’s been Ross the last few years and probably won’t change now.

Apart from the obvious episodes, Unagi, My Sandwich etc, my favourite he’s in is The One with Monica’s Thunder.

His reaction to, “come on Ross, let’s go have sex…” and when Monica says to Rachel, “I’m sorry I almost made you sleep with Ross!” he says, “well I’m gonna take off…” and it’s all just timed perfectly

Ross can be an annoying character but I really think he is one of the funniest! And a lot of that is due to David’s marvellous acting

I love Friends. Literally have seen every episode hundreds of times, it’s always on in the background, it helped me through the grief of losing my mum and was my ultimate comfort. I hate when people talk about how it’s aged badly etc. Just take it for what it is, a funny show from its time.
I’ve had a cry about Matthew, I think the first celebrity death that’s ever got to me like that. I just can’t believe that he’s gone. He led such a sad life privately with so many demons, yet brought so much joy in his work. I’m sarcastic because of Chandler! Same here. It's like my comfort blanket and has helped me through many a bad time.
I could recite most of the lines at this stage. Loads of them are running through my head right now.

I wish that things had gone so much better for Matthew, during his lifetime.
My favourite Friend. Always was and always will be.

Can you believe there’s only one Halloween episode??

I watch all the Thanksgiving/Christmas episodes religiously as December gets closer but I’ll be watching this one today.

I’m watching the episode where Chandler invents “cups” to make sure Joey can pay the bills when he moves out

I think a lot of Chandlers more poignant moments get overlooked for his funny ones but there were quite a few where he was an amazing friend. My favourite is where he speaks to Erica and convinces her to choose them to adopt her baby after the files had gotten mixed up.

The Graham Norton show paid tribute to him on Friday night, at the end, by playing the clip from the time he was on the show. Aww.

So sad, just in shock. he worked so hard to get better. This is hitting so hard, Friends was part of lives got so long, grew up with it, helped through so much right their laughs.
