Watching her latest videos makes me miss the Freddy of 2014 - 2018. She seemed much more chill back then, very calming in her presenting style and more professional overall. In the last couple of years she has changed so much, and it seems to be a thing with Youtubers that after a while they let the success get to them and change what people liked about them in the first place to conform to the whole Youtuber thing more, which for me is always a change for the worst.

Disappointing but apparently inevitable and makes me glad I'm not a Youtuber if you can't be natural because of the Algorithm or whatever causes the insecurity that turns people fake.

I agree with you, I have enjoyed her content for such a long time that it’s disappointing to see how she’s changed. Like she used be naturally funny in her videos and now she tries soooo hard to include ‘sassy’ quotes that she can clip and put at the start of the video, and you can tell she’s rehearsed / planned them to get people quoting her in the comments. Just comes across very fake now and it’s a shame

The squealing really is very fake. Wish she'd cut it out...is there anyone it would even appeal to?

Whenever she squeals in her videos, it legit triggers something in me and I immediately have to click out of the video. It drives me crazy ugh

Truer words have never been spoken Her personality then was what drew me in and made me stay, but she's been really out of touch with reality these past 2 years, more so this past year.

At the rate she's going, her viewers or subscribers may even outgrow her and she'll be a thing of the past, like Zoella. Her dressing suits a younger demographic, not people her age cos most of them work in jobs that requires proper and appropriate outfits, which does not include short skirts and too tight tops. I just wonder who's her target demographic? Freddy's gonna have to adapt if she's targeting those younger than her cos there's always gonna be new up-and-coming Gen Z YouTubers who are more relatable and likeable. Even after so many years of doing YouTube, she has never done a work outfits video when most people her age are working corporate jobs... So many of her viewers have requested this over the years but she pays no heed

I feel like the main thing that draws in viewers and makes them like her is her looks (to my dismay). If it wasn't for that, I bet she would have been called out on her attitude left and right a lonngg time ago.

Can all the people that are out of work struggling to eat, keeping a roof over their heads spare a thought for Freddy because her life is really really hard you know!

Honestly crying with laughter at this. Slightly outing but I spent a couple of years working 3 jobs - as a TA, in food retail and at McDonald's, 7 days a week with only Christmas Day off the entire year. My day started at 3am and finished at 11pm. Had a one year old at the same time who I barely got to see because I had to make ends meet. I refuse to believe that even the most productive influencer has it that hard.
Not a woe-is-me kind of thing, just that they can employ people if need be. The rest of us peasants have to graft our way through life on our own.

Exactly, if it takes her 14 hour days to show a few shoes/bags/clothes, film it and edit it then send them back...sorry but she’s slow and incompetent. Not our problem.

Interesting - Zimmermann size 2 is 10-12 and a Maje 38 is a hard 10. I know because I have both brands in abundance in my wardrobe and I definitely don't have the bum for anything bigger than 36! She seems to be taking a larger size for designer maybe?

I'm glad she can be a bit more honest about it at least, she'll hopefully be a little happier for it too. She looks stunning, so she might as well be comfortable too

Mostly unnatainable (expensive) pieces or not really suitable for real life (her style is shifting more towards tv show wardrobe). And more and more stuff she is showing us is gifted (and expensive). And just look at her pink girly gift guide list.. almost everything is GIFTED. Props for ''finding'' all that stuff.

I get it that influencer life isn't always sunny and perfect, but she really should not complain so much about being busy for ONLY 2 weeks. She's making lot's of money from it sooo please stop it Freddy And next to that, she doesn't have to spend much money on anything anyway, because

One of the most frustrating things about Freddy is she is not evolving at all. Her videos are exactly the same as when she started six years ago, except she has become more childish.

No idea how she still has so many followers. It's the same videos year after year. I keep hoping she'll mature but she's actually going backwards. It's sad.

I only watched one Cyber Week video of hers, and I've yet to watch the gift guide. Based on what you're saying, I guess I didn't miss much by skipping through the whole lot. I've never watched her gift guides anyway cos I know most of it is gifted so its not actually gifts that she personally picked out which beats the purpose really

Influencers are legit walking billboards so I've always taken their reviews with a grain of salt, no matter how much they emphasise about the item being sooo pretty/sooo cute/sooo beautiful/sooo useful/its changed the game for them/etc. Its like they've totally sold their souls to the devil and they really don't give a damn about what happens to viewers who actually buy and use the products, as long as it lines the influencers' pockets. Trust no influencer!

I was laughing my heart out when she complained about being sooo busy these past few weeks cos of Cyber Week, I guess she was just oh-so-busy trying on outfits that are two sizes too small, more computer scrolling and endless returning of items Cut her some slack you guys, Freddy is totally working her butt off for us, showing us the best (gifted) gifts to give to your loved ones.... Hard work, amirite!

Her emotional maturity and behavior has significantly regressed over the years, probably from pretending to be 4 years younger and an inability to embrace her changing body shape. Girl is too stuck in her influencer bubble to realize anything really.

She probably thinks that being 'sassy' and 'classy' will draw in more viewers and subscribers but her viewers are definitely going to grow up and realize that her being sassy is just her being stuck-up, and she doesn't even dress classy with those mini skirts and bursting button tops. Does this girl not know and understand what classy really means... Being sassy is NOT classy, Freds. Only her looks are saving her now. God forbids she gets her hair wet and frizzy under wet or humid weather, or she leaves the house without bringing her 1000 hair brushes with her. Good luck JJ, you're in for a treat indeed

Yes!! I used to love her channel even though her style isn’t for me because it was just quite fun and she didn’t take herself so seriously. Now she’s all about this ‘sass’ (read: outright rudeness and contrived ‘on the spot one liners’ ) she’s unbearable. Such a shame.

Agreed. She probably spends hours racking her brain for those perfect 'on the spot one liners'. I honestly would run for the hills if anyone I know even acts that sassy She's feeding off of the comments thats saying her dry humor is hilarious and her one liners are aBsOLuTeLy iCoNiC. I guess we have some of the viewers to blame for the monster that she's become
