Disappointing for Perez and Vettel.

Shame about Tsunoda not getting into Q3, that Alpha Tauri looks to have potential though. Gasly is on it. Sainz is doing his best to give Leclerc a spanking. Lando and Ricciardo showing the McLaren is solid too. Should be a good season.

Christian Horner is going to be the smuggest twat ever. And he is already a smug twat.

The stewards have declared George and Valterris crash as a racing incident and no further action will be taken.
That's probably the right outcome. It definitely looked fairly 50/50. To place outright blame on one or the other would be extremely harsh.

Another who’s been to Dubai recently!

I’m not massively sold on the alpine winter livery. Wonder what the season one will be.
Hope Charles uses this time to do some self reflection. He hasn’t worn a mask several times and travelled from Monaco to various parts of France before going to Dubai. Obviously in Dubai he’s been to that dreadful Fame Park where he played tug of war with a Liger. The fact is we are in a Pandemic and just because he is able to jet around doesn’t mean he has to.

i saw an interesting theory recently. Wolff has shares in Aston Martin and since he’s been thinking about his future recently, maybe he will be moving to AM along with lewis... hence why he hasn’t signed yet
I think Lewis would be mad to move to Aston Martin at least not for next season. Also, that would require Laurence Stroll to drop his own son from the team since Vettel has already signed for one seat. He is going to become a 7 time World Champion this year and given that the cars are basically going to remain the same next year due to delaying the new regs by a year, he is near a certainty to get his 8th at Mercedes next year and become the most successful F1 driver ever. Then, he could move teams and be part of a project for a team on the rise. But I really can't see him turning away from the best car on the grid before 2022 when the new regulations come in.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wolff at Aston Martin next year though, or maybe leave Mercedes this year, have a year off and then join Aston.

The F1 media loves to push the Max vs Leclerc as the next big thing. Based on Kimi, Lewis still has 4-5 years. In that time Lando and George also could get better cars.
Now I wonder, will Ferrari fail Leclerc? Will it be Max vs Lando? Or George? Or someone unexpected!

My uncle was watching f1 when i was small. Everybody had to be silent during the race. I hated it. I was a fan of kimi just to annoy him. He loved schumi. And look where i am, posting on a F1 thread.
This is the same as me! My grandad loved F1 so I’d be made to watch it. He liked mclaren and particularly coulthard. So when I was around 10 I decided to support Schumacher to annoy him. I ended up being completely obsessed from then on

Would love to be a fly on the wall for the Toto-Russell and Toto-Bottas conversations yesterday! Tbh regardless of the incident, Bottas was gonna end up in the office for a bollocking yday!!
Wonder if there could be a mid season Bottas/Russell switcheroony if Bottas continues on this path🤪

It is so hard to tell if it was Bottas or George. I think Bottas left enough place, but since George slipped, he could not do anything.
Both went aggresive, no need to blame the other.

Just been catching up with the Mazepin stuff. Surely Haas can't justify keeping him. Makes me feel sick thinking about him being on the grid with Lewis.
