What a race! No idea what was going on with the track limits at turn 4 that Lewis was using for 30 laps before Max started doing it... and then swiftly got shut down. No way to say whether that impacted.

Great to have a race that wasn’t a snore fest!
I have no idea what was that with the rules. They were so fast to tell off Max.

Christian Horner, Helmut Marko and Red Bull/Alpha Tauri might be able to crawling back begging for Renault engines if they have to now Cyril is out of the picture. I think the very poor relationship between him and Christian was a key part of the Renault/Red Bull breakdown. And Renault would be mad to turn down two teams paying for engines now they have no customers, it would help the finances.

Obviously this is all dependent on Red Bull not being able to carry on with the Honda engine independently.
I honestly don't know what to think about the engine situation. There were several stories about Williams moving back to Renault, but I think that has stopped with the technical deal Williams have struck with Mercedes.

I wonder if rumours about Newey leaving are dependent on the engine situation. Horner promotes the fact Newey is there in 2021, but goes quiet about the future.....

I’ll have LeClerc 😍
Although Alonso is back 😍
The main man for me will always be Webber though.

I missed quali yesterday - put the highlights on but fell asleep so I’ll watch them before the race today.

I listened on the radio and have noticed they do tend to pick up more than on tv. They talked about Mick having a good race, but I ended up gardening as tomorrow is a wash out here and it’s seemed pretty conclusive what the top 3 would be.
I do feel sorry for Max, twice he’s been penalised for track limits. I get they have to do it but get the gravel back then it’s stay on track or be beached!
Did you listen to BBC Radio 5 Live? As terrible Palmer was as a driver he absolutely rocks as a pundit

I've never particularly warmed to Alonso. I've only got into F1 in the past 5 years, but moreso in the past 2, do didn't see him at his best. Just comes across as too arrogant.
Yes! This! His attitude is appalling. And there is a reason all the teams have such a toxic vibe when he is there. McLaren especially suffered with him. They bent over for him and honestly he was awful. He poisoned the relationship with Honda, not McLaren. They were being diplomatic until the very end. And Alonso screwed himself for Indy500 because Honda then refused to let Alonso drive a Honda powered car, which was the better engine in IndyCar. He's just toxic.
