Charles must feel shit but they’ve show their true colours so when contracts come back round, he might be on the way out! It’s not impossible to get out of these contracts even if they’re long so someone might go sniffing round and snap Charles up

aw i didn’t realise they looked different! like you say the circle widgets are so cool, and means i can have charles’ stats on my lock screen at all times (in case i ever want to feel sad i guess ) they give so many options too!

9pm sounds like a dream time to watch a race, i sadly don’t think any of them start that time for me in the uk! excited for singapore too, though i can’t see anyone catching max i’m still hoping for a surprise person on the podium before this season ends. it is seeming more unlikely though!

So Sky F1 have just said penalties have to be served so Max starts p7. Some rule a certain Mr Massy created in 2020. Earlier Sky F1 said it would be P4 and also said that to Charles.

i got the mclaren miami hoodie in their sale last week, not even that i’m a huge mclaren fan but the colours are very pretty and it’s cosy af. i really want one of the alphatauri hoodies (their merch is the best) but i just can’t justify it.

the pinnacle of my f1 wardrobe is my charles t-shirt which has his name and an assortment of photos with him and flames in the background i thought it would be lucky but it Has Not Been.

Not a McLaren fan particularly either, but the pink hoodie is very cosy too. I showed it to my husband and commented that it looked nice & he bought it for whatever reason. I wasn't even hinting that I wanted it. Normally, he barely pays attention to all the rubbish I show him on my phone.

That Leclerc shirt will bring luck next year. Can't expect too much from it in its rookie season.

I find it super interesting that in the case of Charles and Max, the rivalry was more intense as children when things weren’t as important as this title fight, for example. Obviously with age there comes a certain maturity as well, but it’s very fascinating. They fought for a F1 WDC and seemed very friendly but their karting days were filled with inchidentes

i find their dynamic fascinating! they obviously seem to like each other and get along, and i think they’re pretty similar (i like how they both want to fully debrief and talk through the races with each other afterwards) but they were rivals where max then completely outmatched charles and jumped straight to f1 while charles still did f2. i would have loved to have seen what would happen in a “real” battle where ferrari didn’t bottle it so epically.

it is interesting to me that max has expressed genuine regret that he didn’t get to properly race charles on a few occasions this season and his empathy when things go wrong for him. but i guess that’s easy to say from his position.

He’s got to start seventh if he qualified second otherwise he hasn’t been penalised five places. If he started fourth he’d have lost two places instead of five.

As entertaining as it would be, I'm not convinced that he was writing that blog. At least, not in the early days, as he would have been 8/9 years old at the time. It was probably written by one of his brothers or his mother which still feeds into everything that has been said about him as the youngest child. I feel like there's an article somewhere where his mother mentions Helmut Marko banning her from the paddock as he felt like Pierre needed to cut the umbilical cord.

He did mention in a French interview that he did earlier this year how he and Anthoine understood the pressure each other faced as their families had made so many sacrifices for them and were in ways in the cornerstones of their families because everyone was so invested in them.

This is absolutely amazing and not surprising in the slightest from all the love he shows his mum on social media 🤍 And the idea of one of his older brothers writing his blog just makes it even funnier, especially considering all the shade that was thrown

Your travels sound amazing, hope you’ve had the best time! Este’s BTG is suuuch a good episode. Not really sure either, they broke up under circumstances no one can understand (on account of the fact none of us know them ) and some people have been revelling in Luisa’s unhappiness and apparent ‘desperation’ to stay relevant. It’s all rather bitter and most members want to be nice about WAGs. It’s not your worth energy!

nyck has really stormed in out of nowhere hasn’t he? i only ever saw him mentioned as a driver who had sort of missed his chance (i was even on this thread saying so!) before the weekend! he had the ultimate audition and passed it, so fair play to him. he deserves it. as said above though, i don’t entirely know how i would feel if i was in that red bull junior programme!
