Poor Logan’s career is over. I’ve never heard of the guy who’s replacing him for the rest of the season…
Neither have I. For all the names floating around being linked with that seat it’s a bit odd to go with a rookie who was never mentioned
He’s an F2 driver for Williams. Interesting his name never came up in what they were floating around. I wonder if this means he also won’t be able to go back to f2?
Silly having some f2 rookie in that seat. They should have gone with someone experienced to limit the damages.
The question is who? Who’s more experienced that would be available?
mick was never going to be a better replacement for Logan, they’re essentially the same in terms of crashes etc
It's still a bit odd to let him race 1 race and then replace why not during the break then time given to newbie?

They are so long out of F1 I can't see either of them being worthwhile alternatives either.
This is what is strange to me too! I don’t follow junior categories. So I’ve never heard of the replacement, but he seems to have very limited f1 experience. Since Williams don’t have a reserve driver, I’m guessing he can’t have done lots of sim work and/or testing for them either like Doohan has at Alpine??? I could be wrong!
I thought for sure that Lawson or Schumacher would get the seat. It’s not Williams even have a seat open for Colapinto next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is tied to sponsor money - as in: they pay for the second half of the season if Logan is driving in the second half, so they have him do the one race to tick this box.
I feel bad for Logan, he's a nice chap. But nice doesn't cover all the crash damage
