The rule book was applied correctly, in the event notes for this race weekend it clearly states:

View attachment 2884774

Norris crossed the line on the lap previous to his pole lap and triggered the sensors, on his pole lap he didn’t exceed track limits and the time was rightfully reinstated.
Wonder why it changes race after race then. FIA needs to sort it out because people are rightly looking critically at this.

It probably is, I'd take that as a sign of God too.

Was I high yesterday or did I read that Lance wants to become a tennis pro ?

Race ban for K mag? 😂

He deffo won’t get that Haas seat next year unless they really don’t have the money to sign anyone

Well that was underwhelming! Glad to see the drivers looked as baffled and awkward as I felt watching it
They didn’t even stand there for the whole thing, they popped up and down so fast 😂

Quite looking forward to what more madness they come up with!

The way the O and the 3 are in his logo make it look like EO91.
I don’t know why it matters that his teammates have been race winners, it’s definitely aimed at prospective employers and not the general public

I still think lando in 2025 or 2026. Danny ric might get a year for sympathy.
I feel like the 2025 grid could be completely different

I do feel sorry for zhou atm as he really does look at risk of being booted from AR! Which maybe feels harsh but maybe it’s not
i think lando ends up there too. marko is a huge fan we know, and he usually gets his own way 🤣 lando does seem to have genuine affection for and loyalty to mclaren - but it depends how long that lasts. i think danny ricc is absolutely going there for a sympathy seat until they can persuade lando.

zhou has done well enough considering everyone was calling him a pay driver but if it’s true that his sponsors didn’t come through and the results have been patchy…. i could see AR getting rid. i wonder who they put in there though as none of the current f2 generation seem ready.

Checo to Williams? Depending on if Logan carries on his current form.
i’d like to see a rookie in there tbh! i’m never a huge fan of just moving around second drivers - though the current rookie standard is poor.

i feel logan is absolutely gonna be a one and done though 🤣

They’ve been given a 10 year contract…. So whether they ever go back, I think they will but this is shambolic. All those fans who have paid stupid amounts of money.
And how can Fred be supportive when his driver has been screwed over by it?
If it is a financial failure would they really go back? There are probably get out clauses in the contract.

Surely they will have to give refunds for last night. But with F1 you never know.

Watching Practice 3 and Ted has just excitingly announced Christian is not on the Red Bull Pitwall he is in a meeting 👀
Edit, it was with the FIA President and now is back on the wall.
No news alert!

I’m going to watch the opening ceremony in a bit when it’s on sky but mainly to see the reaction of the drivers to the hoopla that’s surrounding this whole weekend.
Not a golf fan so didn’t bother with the Netflix cup (apart from seeing Carlos break the trophy!)

Haas are getting a new motorhome for next year. I'm not convinced it's the best way they could be spending their money.

Zhou and Bearman, money and a young driver. That's my guess on the Haas lineup for next year.

You think so? He does seem very obsessed with being a driver. Plus he is still pretty young. But hey you never know if the RB dream stalwarts to crumble if Christian might bugger off. 🫰
I think he's obsessed with being a driver. Not specifically an F1 driver. Why slog through a development battle when he can simply piss off to whichever series he likes, where he'd be given whichever seat he likes? He's said he's keen on WEC and rally and he'd like to do the Indy 500. Meanwhile whenever he has to race someone these days he kicks off.

Unlike Lewis who is willing to put up with a few seasons of shite in order to beat the records, I don't think Max is.
