I have openly disliked him for a while. He buys into his own hype.
There was a clip yesterday at the drivers parade of Lewis explaining something to George with his hands, clearly giving him a tip or explaining something about the track. Then you have Lando attacking him in the cool down room when he really should be soaking up any bit of advice or feedback a man with 104 race wins can give him instead of being a brat with a single win to his name.

Oops.. I did it again​

From falling off his e-scooter to wetting himself in the cockpit, there’s always been a touch of Alan Partridge about Nico Rosberg.​

And the 2016 world champion was at it again during the Hungarian grand prix, squabbling with a child on live TV.​

During a segment with three junior go-karters, Nico confided in them that his nickname at Mercedes was Britney, due to his long hair. “It was not cool”, he recalled, still seething at the moniker.​

A few minutes later, the former Mercedes driver got up to leave, and one of the kids told him: “Good luck Britney, I hope you do well.”​

Rosberg stopped in his tracks, and hissed: “No Scarlett that was not cool. I share a secret there with you guys, that was not cool at all.”​

“Thank you Britney,” came Scarlett’s reply, leading Nico to death-stare her and growl, “please apologise”.​

Finally, Scarlett said a quiet "sorry”, and Rosberg flounced off.​

I do feel for Oscar having his first win tainted knowing it was handed to him not totally won on merit and I’ve no idea why Maclaren even did it with Lando being the title contender and knowing Max would likely drop more points post race, they would have got the same constructors points either way. You can’t strategise for every eventuality in a race and sometimes you just have to be cut throat. I was shouting Multi21 at the tele before they even mentioned it!

Wow, Ted speared James Vowles on that interview! Pointed out that the lack of a chassis is a problem that stops with James, pointed out that this is going to create tension with sponsors/Logan/fans, and asked if ultimately it was all worth it for maybe a point. Vowles said he wouldn't have done it if it wasn't and Ted said 'well for your sake, Alex's sake, and Logans sake I hope it works out'

I think it’s interesting why he says that (apologies if you all know already). Murray Walker advised him to always say the same thing to give the race a couple of seconds to get started so he could comment on who has a good/ bad start etc as you just need that time. Murray always said ‘and it’s go go go’
