I think for the sake of their children it’s good that they have. High profile celebrities manage to protect their children’s identity, with the amount of Instagram followers finch bakery have why would they want everyone to see so much of their children, especially pictures of Alba in the bath. They could quite literally have anyone on there

I’ve always found the pictures of Alba in the bath very strange to so many people! She’s a beautiful funny baby but they have no idea who is watching from such a public account. I think when you haven’t experienced negative and traumatic experiences yourself people are often very naive to the way people can be and things that can happen.
Yes they 100% think that nothing bad happens to them. SIDS, car accidents, internet safety - they just seem to have no clue. I think they have massive survivors bias because they’ve clearly been very sheltered their whole life. It blew my mind to see Rachel putting her 6 week old in her own room, who could possibly look at their 6 week old new baby and be like “nah SIDS won’t happen to me”. I’ve now known 2 women to lose their babies to SIDS and it’s heart wrenching. They just seem to take absolutely no precautions with their children and it shocks me. I actually loved their accounts before they had kids as well, now I feel they’re just reckless. Not only do they put their own children at risk, but they also advertise to thousands of new mums and mums to be that it’s ok to do that. How irresponsible can you be
I don’t know much about babies but surely SIDS happens whether they’re in the room with you or not? If a baby dies in its sleep you wouldn’t necessarily know if you’re asleep too? Maybe I’m waaaay off the mark here!
I totally agree, too many public accounts show reckless and irresponsible parenting. Influencers and celebrities are terrible for it, I’ve had to unfollow so many. Before I was a mum I never really paid attention to others parenting but now I’ve had my own child it absolutely astounds and upsets me to see other mums just blindly going along because thats what they’ve seen others doing or their mum/gran did it. It’s not difficult to spend a little bit of time on google looking at the latest guidelines for everything from weaning to sids to car safety. Just because you were “fine” being weaned at 4 months is irrelevant, the science has proven otherwise and it’s know better do better.
Research proves that sids risk is massively reduced my having baby in the room with you for at least 6 months, as the baby uses your breathing to regulate their breathing

it is proven by studies that keeping baby in the same room until atleast 6 months reduces the risk of SIDS. Im sure I read due to back ground noise baby doesnt go into too deep of a sleep, also their breathing comes in line with Mums

I’m absolutely sure the midwives and health visitors would have spoken about sids and to keep baby with you for 6 months minimum. We had a sleepyhead when my daughter was born and my midwife visited on day 1, she stressed how dangerous they are. I returned it and now the lullaby trust have deemed all sleeping pods like that to be unsafe, even for supervised sleeping. Now having had my daughter I can fully understand how dangerous they are but I was naive and sucked in by the company’s assurance they were safe and the fact other mums loved them

Yeh I think it’s both. My friend said to me at work 25% ofd at finch today and our boss heard and said “don’t bother it’s tit. My gf works in great Harwood and none of the locals rave about it” is this true

I think it’s because it’s clearly what she perceives as being her ideal child, she was wishing it curly before he was even born! Just like she was obsessed about his eyes being green and posting asking if they look green or blue when they are literally the most bright blue ever with no hint of having ever looked greenI find it really awkward how obsessed Lauren is with Kit having curls, when his hair isn’t curly in the slightest? Why is she trying to make her child something he’s quite clearly not? There are absolutely no curls there at allwhat a strange obsession to have

I think it’s interesting too, although I’m glad because since they have become parents they are both insufferable. Especially Lauren. Telling thousands of random strangers the exact hours your baby slept last night is just odd. They are both obsessed that they have babies that sleep through the night? My 2 year old has always been a really good sleeper too yet I don’t feel the need to tell everyone especially when I know a lot of other mums struggle with this. I unfollowed Lauren long ago when she posted about 100 screenshots of her texts about getting pregnant
