I think you’ll find that stork/margarine is very commonly used in buttercream for most bakers and bakeries. Whenever I have used butter, it has created greyish icing that separates.
After reading the thread it has altered my opinion on the owners, but that is due to political differences. however, I wouldn’t critique them on buttercream, just ask them to use normal butter perhaps?
Yeah they use marg for cupcakes but not big cakesShe's now sharing bath photos of the children. She said she doesn't like the taste of butter as a way to justify using that horrible palm oil margarine instead. Who doesn't like butter in cakes but prefers Marg? I don't buy it.

Yes! They are nasty bullies and think they're allowed to set their followers onto someone and anyone that doesn't praise them they call a troll. Big hypocrites.
and its not them eating them!Does anyone watch eat well for less? When some people love their brands and when they blind taste it they say it tastes cheap and horrible when it's actually the same big brand that they say is amazing.
I think these marge cakes and brownies from Finch bakery would be the same. People spend a lot of money on them and like the brand so they want to believe it tastes amazing and worth every penny.
There should be a law against her posting her children on a very public Instagram account with over 100'000 followers. It's not fair but it's part of her brand using children and she's deliberately sharing more now as a petty duck you to people here. Grow up love.

Yes, I live in Lancs too and it’s so frustrating people ignore the guidance and do what they want and flaunt it - like they do. Interesting to see what will happen once Boris has spoken.
I got an occasion cake recently from another big bakery (like an insta famous one) in Lancs. Was £85. Had a huge dent in one side of the buttercream and the cake was dry.
I have had Finch brownies and I thought they were nice but I wouldn’t buy a cake tbh
Thats why I would not put my children's photos in the public domain, you do not know who is downloading them, scary
I must admit I am looking forward to seeing the inside of their new houses though 
They posted a photo of an admittedly not great drip cake from the Great British Bake Off, which I felt was plain mean. If the contestant had made hundreds or thousands like they have then I’m sure she would have perfected the technique.

Perhaps tessa hasn’t been rewarded financially but knows how much they’re making? It seems odd with everything going on she would leave, like what job opportunity has she left for in the current climate? Dying to know

It’s always a bit awkward when you leave a job, even on the best of terms it can be a bit difficult to navigate. I eagerly waiting to see what tessa is off to do though, I never thought she’d leave FB!
I've seen on her stories that she's been involved with these events recently. Maybe she's got a job doing something there? But as people have said above, you'd think she'd have announced something already if it's good
But surely jobs in tv and events are a little sparse right now, because everything is not running. It just seems a bit odd to leave at this moment in time of a pandemic. I definitely think it was something amazing she’d have announced it yesterday along with leaving FB. Honestly, just want to know 
They put a questions on Instagram stories and someone asked what is Tessa doing now and they just replied ‘we’ll let her tell you herself
