Is anyone else confused by this?? If you’re using dairy free things how can cross contamination occur
I think that as they would be making their vegan products on the same site as their other products that contain dairy, because of possible cross contamination, they cannot 100% guarantee that their vegan products don’t contain dairy. The only way they would be able to say they are diary free is if they are done on a different site, which I’m guessing they aren’t, so they have to put ‘may contain’ instead?

This. I’ve just seen a soon to be released chocolate bar that is stamped vegan and yet states may contain milk.

It's to cover themselves legally from Trading standards & potential lawsuits, eg if someone had an allergic reaction & they stated their products were vegan they would be liable.

Cross contamination could literally be using a knife that has a speck of butter on to make a vegan cake, it might be enough to kill someone with a severe allergy so legally to say they are vegan would have to have a vegan factory with absolutely no animal products in the production areas.

Yes it’s the same as with gluten and nuts. It has to be on a completely separate site to be guaranteed 100% allergen free. Otherwise they leave themselves open to litigation.

I have coeliac disease and they say you can get a reaction from 20ppm which is the equivalent to a crumb 🤯

I feel like they know they aren’t as popular anymore so are desperately trying to cling on 🤣 how embarrassing for the twons. It’s all their own fault though.

I’ve noticed that isabakes seems to have stopped liking FB posts on Instagram too. Since she left they have completely upped their game , nothing like healthy competition twons! 🤣

Did nobody see the twins make that post yesterday Friday of someone accusing them of copying them? I’ve seen quite a few things recently that I think I’ve seen that before on another bakery’s page 🤔

Tbh, Isas bakes look like copies of Jane's Patisseries.
A lot of the stuff that gets posted there, Issa then makes. Like the rocky road pudding and truffles

Tbh I was following Finch when Isabelle first started working with them and she could already bake very well. I knew she wouldn’t work there forever as she was already really good. And who’s to say she didnt have an input in those recipes

Even if they are similar .. there’s only so many ways do jazz up a brownie.
What’s more outrageous is how much they charge!
