I'd be utterly disappointed if I'd spent £80+ on a cake and it turned out like this

80 pounds!!!

M&S cake for me less than £20 doneFellow (ex) baker and that’s actually not bad for £80 it does look a good size and it’s got the blondies on top,I'd be utterly disappointed if I'd spent £80+ on a cake and it turned out like this
especially at the minute in this climate. My friend got a cake this weekend from another less known baker and it was £70, it was so small!I'm just guessing price based on previous cakes they've advertised I've no clue how much this one costFellow (ex) baker and that’s actually not bad for £80 it does look a good size and it’s got the blondies on top,
but I agree cake ingredients are so expensive at the minute! I just think the design is gross 
They’ve never heard of less is more have they, take away the awful sprinkles and silver leaf and I’d pay that price but it just looks a mess with it all

Before lockdown they were decent. Then brownies just went through the roof for everyone. They got popular. Think that’s where the problems started. They got different bakers in and I think mass production maybe freezing them?! Just doesn’t taste as good as it used to

Back then tho they were actually decent!!! Their stuff tasted fresh. I definitely noticed a difference when they started getting more bakers in

Yeah definitely. The chocolate cake jars are so so so crumbly. They always recommend put in the microwave

It's rit now, never tasted drier cake and the last brownies I ordered had clearly been sent from frozen. I'd bet my house on them not being fresh

They definitely have Tessa to thank for their rise to fame. When she was doing pretty much daily lives, there were people who were basically just there for Tessa content. Then when Alba was born that also massively carried them.
If it was just the twins alone there is no way they would have had any where near the level of social media engagement that got them where they are now
