They’re so careless about pregnancy though and I think that’s what irks people. They’ve both times both gotten knocked up at a sniff, and then they’re so throwaway about it. Drinking, partying, complaining, sharing odd messages day in day out about “knowing they were pregnant the second the sperm hit the egg” etc. This isn’t a private account, they need to remember they have a lot of followers who don’t like the surprise announcements and carelessness but follow for the cake and tips etc.
It’s a kick in the teeth for a lot of people. They’re not humble about it.
Exactly and I do feel like some of it is just crass bragging. I don’t think it’s just my own bitterness as there are people that have been trying much much longer than me, I’m young and I have time and options left, so as much as I am sad for myself I am thinking of other female followers more. The older ladies who are child free but not by choice, or the followers who’s IVF has failed, maybe multiple times. The ladies that like myself have received Diagnosis’s that mean they have to take medication with horrible side effects just to try and ovulate, and track 3 things at once to see if the dose is working. Anybody that has obsessively tried knows that there isn’t a chance of a positive result on a blue dye test at 7DPO (7 days before her missed period as stated) and that is an indent that so many of us have stared at month after month and wasted hundreds of pounds on only to never get a positive result. Some things should be kept on private pages if they really want to post them publicly and not keep them between friends and family. I even love their posts about their children, that’s not triggering because how can you avoid living children on social media and I’m happy for them they can have happy healthy children, but they’ve just gone too far with over sharing in my opinion.

Those bridesmaids dresses... Tell me you don't want your bridesmaids upstaging you without telling me you don't want your bridesmaids upstaging you 🤭🤭🤭

What on earth is them standing on bloody chairs at the reception about? I've never seen that before.

I know it miles away from Finch but not too far from York so thought I would mention it. If you are after donuts in the north east, then Proven Goods is the place to go. We probably average visiting 3-6 times a year as were over an hour away but OH MY GOD! They are the most amazing things I've ever eaten 😋 also they do a drink called hot chocolate fluff and it's amazing! Check them out on insta 👍🏻

I promise I'm in no way affiliated 😂 just a very satisfied customer!

I actually think they’re quite refreshing on social media. I don’t know them personally, but they’ve grown a big business, employ a lot of people, bring customers to their area through clout, and also seemingly are supportive of other small businesses, even competitors like Lou Lou and Cakes Contour etc?? I think that’s quite nice and reflects well on them. There are so many cake accounts that are all smoke and mirrors, theirs seems to be less so.

I don’t think the shop looks too bad now that it’s a bit more finished and at least they stay open until a reasonable time. Isabakes is obsessed with selling out within a couple of hours but there’s nothing in her display 😂😂 clearly needs to bake more.
The selling out and OMG look at our queue cultures really irritate me, swear every bakery insta does it, very boring 🥱

Yeah make it sound more jokey by offering brownies in return 🙄 the guys seem way nicer than the twins they do nothing but put them down
From their lives that they’ve shared online (which is ALOT) I would definitely agree that Ed seems waayyyy too nice for Lauren, but I think Dec and Rachel are well matched 🤷‍♀️

Welcome Finch Lovers you are clearly on the wrong thread :ROFLMAO:

I don’t care whether I sound fun or not, I know that my child is happy, healthy and sleep soundly at night knowing I’m looking after her.

You could have the strongest support network in the world just because they know the people doesn’t mean they ain’t dumping the kids on them.

I wouldn’t take any issue with them having holidays just because you’re a parent doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy life; more the fact that they don’t ever seem to spend time with the kids doing anything and when they do it seems more like an Instagram photo op at every opportunity just to prove they do in fact do stuff with the kids. Between the amount of people siding with them on here that are new members and the Instagram farm photo shoot yesterday me thinks the terrible “twons” are still reading this and taking it very personally:ROFLMAO:
All of this 👏🏻

I went for the first time (as I was in the area)! No queue, half price, loads left. Was lucky for me at least.

ETA: the blondie was really nice/thick. The cookies... I'll be honest, I prefer my homemade Jane's Patisserie ones.

Each to their own I guess but personally I would rather spend my time making memories with my children before they grow up than dumping them with other people all the time. I’m all for nights out here and there etc but they literally leave their kids on a weekly basis and now going to New York while their babies are literally 3 & 4 months old? Funny thing is as well they could keep it private amongst their friends that all seem the same type, but they have to plaster it all over their business account because they crave attention constantly

How many times does Lauren want to rephrase ✨arN’T gENetiCs fAB✨ to justify the amount of times she mentions Kit & Wrens looks? Can you do that on your personal account please hun, no one cares what colour eyes your child has 🥱

Maybe super fertile ladies don’t realise how sensitive a topic pregnancy can be but I’ve had to unfollow them for ramming it down everyone’s throats while I’m struggling with fertility problems, and follow them for brownies and the occasional funny post. I’ve followed them since they baked from their parents kitchen and I’m a regular visitor to their shop, but I don’t personally know them so why would I care about their pregnancies to the point of pregnancy test and bump photos? Very insensitive of them regardless of the excitement in what is a happy time for them, on a business page.
I wouldn't say they are ramming it down everyone's throats. A lot of people who follow them love their life updates so it probably doesn't occur to them that there's people who solely follow them for cake related stuff. I mean it should saying as it's there business page, but they don't strike me as the most self aware of folk.

I think Tessa seems so desperate to settle down like the majority of her friends seem to have done. She flits around so much from one thing to another career wise, does she even know what she wants? Baking, teaching, makeup artist, dentist, army, all that social media interviewing stuff… all in a few short years 🤷‍♀️

I would imagine it is hard to keep up in their friendship group tbh. Most of them appear to have their own businesses and decent money. Teaching is not exactly known for paying particularly well. Tessas family must have decent money as she went to private school. And her best friend Liv, well she looks absolutely wadded, and again went to private school. I think she is probably trying to find something where she can sustain that lifestyle money wise, but like someone else said she just seems lost 🤷‍♀️

They had a party for Alba on Sunday so it is likely that they left after that, or even today. They are asked not to share personal lives on their business page so when they don’t they’re being told they’re sneaky. Let’s just be happy for them that they can have a break. I went to Majorca last week and needed the rest as I am sure they do. They have many staff these days maybe it was someone else posting content this week, the business still goes on without them there.
🙄🙄🙄🙄
Are you one of their friends?

They post loads of personal stuff. Funny that this was left out.

The cake is so underwhelming considering they make them for a living, it kind of reminds me of when a plasterer is slapping the plaster on a wall 🤣 I definitely preferred Lauren’s wedding in terms of dress/styling/cake etc! But I think Rachel’s style has always been more edgy than Lauren’s so I’m not actually surprised by all the black styling. Although I was not expecting the pinky beige bridesmaid dresses, especially when Lauren’s were quite bold
The outfit they have put Alba in is really underwhelming too, I was expecting a really cute dress! The skirt is cute but the bodysuit/vest is so plain and not at all wedding attire 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know, I thought with all her money, and how much she likes spending it, I thought everything would be super extravagant, but I feel like it’s been quite anticlimactic 🙃

Where the shop is is a very small town (near another small town/villages that they probably feel like very big fish / Celebs etc

surely the chap(s) mention driving past / in passing 'oh yeah I dated one of the finch girls' imagine current girlfriend/wife having a stalk and discovering they are still talked about 😂

anyone else get the impression/ think the other mum gets a bit narked over the other girl & boy not being 'as in demand/' requested enough or however I can't think how to explain in 🙈

The comments on the post of wren are a bit awkward 😬 people saying she's flinching because she probably thought it was kit near her... That'd be enough to stop putting my kids on the gram.

Yep these are the types of videos I was talking about, they’ve always looked unhygienic behind the scenes. Don’t get where people are getting their comments like ‘your obviously so clean and hygienic’ from 🤨 no hairnets, yet chucking her head around over the counter 🤢 and don’t get me started on the no gloves and the long false nails 🤮
Also so fucking funny that there’s cardboard on the floor in this video!! Clearly not a one off thing, the lying pair of idiots 🙄
Didn't realise the twons had posted the video too!
'one piece of cardboard on the floor' sounds like they had opened a box of sprinkles and forgot to pick up the rubbish.

Putting or more accurately leaving cardboard on the floor to soak up the spills (and will cause it to become damp) to save the job of mopping is completely different 🙈

no hair nets with them all dancing and roboting around gives me the ick too.
