Really sharp and masculine, maybe bitter might be the word I’m looking for? Tried the exclusif as well and it was just the same! I don’t know how it’s compared to fleur Narcotique or levant, it smells nothing like them to me!
Fleur Narcotique is the same as Valaya. On the initial spray Fleur is more floral but then it starts drying down to Valaya ( peachy, floral on me). The Fleur Narcotique may be different on you as its a different brand/formulation .

Hello @unfinishedsentenc how are you? How was your Christmas? ♥ 🎄 Did you feel very festive wearing Angels Share on Christmas Day? I ended up wearing Rouge Malachite which is my favourite ever and one I bring out for special occasions - such a decadent balsamic white floral.

Are you now planning on what perfumes you will begin buying in April for the summer, or will beach skin be your main summer fragrance?

Are Musc Ravageur and Angels Share strong? You know I don't mind a strong fragrance every now and then, especially for going out. But I've been recently gravitating towards skin scents that aren't so overwhelming. I blind bought Sonic Flower that's meant to be similar to Glossier You, and I really like Angel Dust Extrait by Fugazzi and Studied by Liis. Orpheon isn't really a skin scent but sort of down those lines in that it's not too overpowering. It's a sort of powdery woody scent that has a bit of sharpness from the juniper berry. It's really nice and unique and easy to wear I think, definitely one I can spray without really thinking and wear to the office without worrying about it overpowering everyone.

I have a few beast mode fragrances in my collection like Initio Atomic Rose and Le Labo The Noir, and while I love them, I find it hard to find the right occasion to wear them if that makes sense. Like they're only really things I'd wear in cold weather in the night time and as they stick on clothes I can't wear the same thing twice if I want to switch out a fragrance. I used to love that but now I'm not sure if I'm now gravitating towards scents that I can wear most of the time and fade after a while so I can switch them out.

I have a few more samples coming though. I have Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle, Lilyphea and Tam Dao by Diptyque and two D.S and Durga ones (Debaser and I Don't Know What). I ordered them this evening after a few beers 😂
Hi 👋 ❤ I actually haven't really got anything in mind to buy for the wedding. I only looked at amouage love tuberose. It sounds so nice but I think they only 100ml and it's so expensive! 💰 I really don't want to purchase anything til at least April 😄 still getting through those bottles I uploaded a photo of on this.

Angels share is quite strong but not overpowering. I could still smell it on my coat a few days later! Musc ravageur has decent staying power also. I just think of Christmas time when I wore it. I've never tried anything by Fugazzi but would love to.

Where do you get your samples? I'm in Ireland and find some only ship to the UK.

This range has a few winners. I love Un Jardin Sur La Nil, which has a big top note of green mango. Amazing in summer. Prices have shot up though, so I haven’t repurchased.
I've not tried that one but I've heard good things about the whole range. I think I picked up my bottle from All Beauty where it was about £45 with an extra 10% off in the sale for the 50ml size to wear this summer.

Oh that’s a shame. I haven’t found a salty one that is good longevity unfortunately. I like a good powerhouse perfume x
It seems to stay on clothes quite well, I’ve gotten several whiffs hours after it’s left my skin!

Two options -

glossier - you . £15/£20 a bottle

Room 1015 - Sonic Flower ( this is very slightly different but still close enough to be similar ) - costs about £100 for 50ml
I have samples of both and prefer the glossier but it’s just missing something. Not sure if that something it’s missing is worth the big price difference though 🤣 I really didn’t like sonic flower at all! In fact I’ve not liked anything from that brand.

Hello how are you :)? I just looked at amouage's love tuberose but it is quite expensive 😭 and it's not that much cheaper from a discounter. How many perfumes do you have in total now, and how many are you hoping to finish by April? I find my list of fragrances I want to buy is growing longer than it takes for me to use them. I swear I have enough to last like 100 years and I still want more.

I might try Angels Share but only next winter when I can save, and Musc Ravageur to me is a cooler weather scent so hopefully that'll put me off until next autumn / winter. I did fall in love with Lilyphea though and it's so expensive even by Diptyque's standards. It's a lovely watery floral that's quite green but then warms up with vanilla and ginger in the base. It's so beautiful but also so expensive 😢

I usually buy samples from perfumista or fragrancesamplesuk but it doesn't seem like they ship to Ireland. Posting perfumes overseas is always quite difficult I've found - how have you been getting samples so far?

SOTD - Narciso Rodriguez. Rouge

This was a present from a friend - fell in love with it and its what got me into perfume. Previously i hardly wore perfume at all - maybe for special occasions only. I loved it then and still love it. I am on my 2nd bottle of this. It has been discontinued ( and now im feeling an urge to buy a 3rd bottle on ebay or vinted so i have a back up 🤦‍♀️).
I’ve a few travel sizes from this brand but I’ve not tried this one! What’s it like?

My all time fav perfume has been discontinued. It was the signature, original Michael Kors perfume. If any of you are familiar with it can you recommed any alternatives with a similar smell? Thanks 😁
I have this and it’s very tuberose heavy, so you could look at Fracas, and one of the Kilian’s I currently can’t remember the name of.

Hi ❤ I've been collecting for about 2 years. Started with la vie est belle and it went from there 😄 it's the thing I love spending my money on. Handbags are too expensive 😄 what about yourself? I would love to try the noir! How is it? I think they do 15mls

I can't remember if I mentioned this but I purchased the new j'adore intense. Think there was 20% off or something on boots. It's lovely however I do prefer j'adore l'or. Gris Dior is lovely. I don't reach for it as much but it is very pleasant. Would suit men especially. Mine has weirdly changed to a clear colour over time but it still smells fine 🙂

Apom by maison Francis kurkdjian is a lovely floral. Only had a sample of it. I think it's about 135 euro for 35ml of it so I may buy in the future.

I blind bought valaya exclusif by pdm last week. I really am mad doing blind buys but luckily I love it! I swear I could still smell it on me about 10 hours later! Only bought a small bottle

Hello :)♥ .

Haha same here, I used to spend money on clothes and going out and now I spend it on perfumes.

I really like The Noir and don't have anything like it in my collection. It's a little bit smoky and woody has a rich fig note and smells fainty boozy even though there are no alcohol notes in there. It's more of a night time scent for me bit I love it.

How much did you get the new J'adore Intense for? It's annoying that it hasn't turned into a regular wear for you but at least you didn't pay full price for it.

I've never tried any MFK fragrances before - criminal I know 😭

I've been interested in the Valaya / Valaya Exclusif perfumes as apparently they perform really well. Have you tried the original Valaya?
