Hi ❤ Oooh I'd love to try Lilyphea! I know they are 100ml but they seem so much more expensive then the original range 🤔 the bottle is gorgeous as always with diptyque 😍 definitely save angels share for Christmas or even autumn 🍂 time would be lovely. I'm halfway through my tiny bottle. I thought it would've lasted longer 😄 tbh I've never been subtle with my sprays 😄

I think I have around 30 bottles ranging between 30 and 50 ml and the odd 75 and 100ml and some samples. I've used up about 3 since posting about using up the one's I had barely anything left in. I'm going to try keep empties so I can review them on this later on in the year. Have you many bottles? Mine are still in shoe boxes not getting the love they deserve 🤣

If I do buy love tuberose I'll let you know what I thought the price is crazy 🤪 I purchased a dior lip oil on boots recently and received 3 free samples of the new dior rosy, peach and purple glow and i have to say i wasn't overly impressed. They haven't got a patch on my j'adore and gris dior imo but I'm glad i got to try them

I've never tried any sample site just bought the odd discovery sets from replica mfk and fredrick malle on brown thomas. I'm actually wearing wearing the sample of apom by mfk on my wrist today and absolutely love it 😀 I've noted that in my phone for future purchases 😄
Hello ♥ . That line of Diptyques is so much more expensive 😭 but it's so beautiful. I think they have a sample set of all of them but they have dabber bottles and I know I'd pour the whole thing over myself as always 😂. Haha well we are coming up to spring now (although it doesn't feel it 🥶) so you can stash your angels share away until the autumn now. Was it your most worn perfume this winter?

Oh wow how long have you been collecting them for? You should 100% keep your empties and review them, and also to see if there's a pattern with what you're using up and what's taking longer to work through. Like I find I go through citrus and other bright scents really quickly but there are some scents I love but can only wear on limited occasions and I can talk myself out of buying something by recognising that pattern. Do you keep your perfumes in shoeboxes to preserve them? I have about 25 ish perfumes overall, ranging from small 15ml bottles to 30ml and 50ml, and 2 100mls. I'm trying to put all my fragrances into chatgpt to see if it can decipher if I have a favourite scent profile or pattern and it said that the noir 29 should be my long term signature scent profile and to be honest that's quite spot on, I do love that perfume.

Yes, let me know. I do love a good tuberose scent, especially now we're getting into spring. I haven't tried many dior scents I have to say, I do love J'adore though and still have a sample of Gris Dior. I always struggle to know when the best season / occasion to wear Gris Dior is though, when do you normally wear it?

What is apom by MFK? Is it an expensive one again 😂

Same with Vibrant Caramel Candy (their dupe of Paradoxe). It stays on my dressing gown until I wash it. I’m wearing another of their perfumes today, Hipster Oud, I’m never really sure if I like it or not! 😂
I must try these; I’m in need of a beast fragrance! I’m wearing angel dust but the longevity is absolutely rubbish on me

I really feel like I need to limit my collection eventually. I tried to stop buying so much for a few months but it gets addictive 🤪 no sooner am i eyeing up something else once I make a purchase 😅

I think if I had to sell or give away some, these 👇are what I'd be happy to be left with (excuse my shitty phone camera)

They look like good choices - only comment i have is that the Caroline Herrera is a lighter version of the original Good Girl . Which one did you choose to come first?
The Caroline herrera was the only one I felt unsure of! I’m getting delina. Thank you for your advice xx

Have you tried Retrospect by Merit? It's one of the ones I liked as a replacement for Glossier You. All those perfumes have similar vibes.

If you smelled Glossier after 2022 then you smelled the reformulated, less good version. I'm holding on to the last drops of my pre-formulation bottle!

The new one version is just fine and I'll probably buy it when I have less of my old version but I'll always keep a few drops and look for an alternative.
I might have a sample of that, I will have a look later. Yes I got a sample last year of the you so I’m gonna say it is the reformulated version. I do like it but it’s just not quite right!

Did you like it? Do you think it might be a flanker? ( ie same dna but slightly different(. Sorry if you know what this means already.
I much preferred it! The dry down is beautiful, much different than I remember…so I think this new 2025 version is a flanker (this is a brand new phrase to me, thank you!). I would definitely buy this one if the longevity wasn’t so poor…so it’s on the maybe list now!

I asked ChatGPT - it came back with this :-

A few likely explanations:

1. Partial smell loss (very common)

People can lose sensitivity to smell without realising it.

Common causes:

  • recent cold or sinus infection
  • allergies or blocked sinuses
  • long-COVID smell changes
  • hormonal shifts (this can happen in perimenopause)
  • certain medications

Often it’s not complete smell loss, just reduced sensitivity.

2. Olfactory fatigue from heavy perfume use

If someone sprays a lot or smells perfumes constantly (collectors, reviewers, etc.), their brain can temporarily “switch off” those scent signals.

So they smell nothing, while other people around them still smell the perfume clearly.

3. Becoming anosmic to specific molecules

Some people suddenly stop detecting certain common perfume ingredients, especially:

  • Ambroxan
  • Iso E Super
  • modern synthetic musks

If many of her perfumes contain these (which a lot of modern perfumes do), they can suddenly feel like they’ve “disappeared”.

4. COVID-related smell disruption

This is still surprisingly common. Even people who had COVID months or years ago sometimes notice:

  • perfumes smelling faint
  • perfumes smelling different
  • perfumes smelling like nothing
Thank you for this! I had Covid back in 2021, so maybe this is it? I don’t know. I think I’m going to stop wearing perfume for a while and see if that helps me. So frustrating because perfume is one of the few things I enjoy and it feels like another thing going wrong with me.
Where do you store your perfumes? Do you keep them in the boxes?

Hope you like Damask when it arrives . It is lovely - only downside is I thought it was mediocre on performance .
Me too. I’ve got a feeling I’m not going to like Champaca as much as the others, Damask sounds more like my type of scent.

Delina la rosee in fab! The price pisses me off but I really love it probably even more then my delina exclusive.

Tried a sample of gfg by mfk and loved it much more then baccarat rouge.
I need a bottle for the summer, hoping to find a good priced one on vinted.
I love gfg, baccarat rouge did nothing for me but I have heard the extrait is sweeter so I’m going to get a sample when I next make a scented samples order

Has anyone tried the new DVF x Estée Lauder water based fragrance IN CHARGE?
I hadn’t heard of it, but fragrantica yields no reviews either. I’m not sure about water based fragrances personally, I can imagine them going bad faster

I bought their discovery set and nothing really was amazing to my nose but I do like the Eden one I think? Then I bought a two set x 5ml of yum boujie marshmallow and yum pistachio gelato and YBM is right up my street. Bought a 50ml shortly afterwards!
I must try these then! Thank you for putting me on the right track with them :) x

Unpopular opinion - kayali fragrances. Tried two; the pistachio one made me smell like cherry Bakewell and the wedding night one I wasn’t a fan. Am I missing something? I really like delina atm and angel dust
I love wedding silk Santal! It reminds me of Ormonde Jayne levant! But that pistachio one is awful and gives me the worst migraine! Was it you looking for angel dust dupe? Sorry if not but desired scents on tik tok now have it in stock
