I’ve been asked to ask if anyone has anything the same as Sultry Pear from Zara…I’ve heard it’s a dupe for La Belle but I’ve not smelled it personally so I don’t know how close it actually was to La Belle and the person who asked hasn’t smelled La Belle but they want something very close to the Zara one.
Yes it's a close dupe

A few fragrance reviews from testing some fancy(-ish?) ones while down in London recently:

Vyrao Ludatrix: like inhaling the children's session at your local community swimming pool - baby powder, kids shower gel, and rubbery swimming caps. Very very odd.

Vyrao Ludeaux: peach schnapps in a multistory carpark. It has a latex note that straight up smells of petrol to me.

Vyrao Witchy Woo: very faint incense on a slightly less faint patchouli after an earthy beginning. Didn't last at all on me.

Vyrao Mamajuju: smells like freshly cut turmeric. Weirdly addictive, and the only one of the Vyrao's that I liked. (Hated the name, though)

Marc Antoine Barrois Aldebaran: haaated this at first, it was all burnt plastic and smoke. However, several hours later it became the most beautiful tuberose, very realistic to the actual flower. A hesitant like, and would definitely like to try again or get a decant, but only if I can battle through the first hour or so.

Veronique Gabai Delices des Bois: smells exactly like the filling of Mr Kipling apple pies. Made me laugh when I realised this lol.

I so want to try Musc Ravageur. I've enjoyed everything I've tried by Frederic Malle - it is just so expensive 😂

Gentle Fluidity sounds quite nice actually now you have described it as "gin like", I might have to try it. I am totally on the same boat when it comes to wearing fragrances to bed, I want to smell like a rich queen. I think it's also quite a good indicator on how long fragrances last 😂

What scent profile is J'ador L'or? I have not tried many Dior at all. I think I tried Roses N'Roses one time which was really nice in the opening but smelt overly soapy in the dry down which I don't usually mind but didn't like there :(

Won't let me post a photo for some reason but it's j'adore essence de parfum. It's so lovely 😍

I have gris dior too. Totally different but lovely too and quite unisex.

You should treat yourself to musc ravageur at christmas 🎄 😉

I will have to see if I can get myself a sample :)

I have a sample of gris dior on my counter at the moment too. I find that scent so interesting. I remember when I first smelt it, I wasn't quite sure, and then it grew on me. A bit like Rose 31 by Le Labo in that sense (scents :D). Although they don't have the same profile at all. Have you tried anything from Le Labo?

Hahaha I should, I really want a Christmassy scent that I can wear every year that reminds me of the season.

I have tried dior gris in the shop, when they were promoting it and initially didn't think it was my thing but kept smelling it over the day and it reallt grew on me. Would really like to get a sample to try and see if i want a full bottle!

Yeah, I think it might be the oakmoss in it? It smells quite mossy to me and at first I wasn't sure if I liked it. I think it's a bit of an acquired taste but I started to enjoy it after a few wears. The performance is really good too 😂

It does last a while even the little card i sprayed in the store smelled for days!

Thats true but not the case for a lot of expensive perfumes (looking at you byredo)
What Byredo ones do you have / like? I have Gypsy Water and agree with you, but I love it so much and haven't found anything similar that has good performance :(

I dont have any, only get decants sometimes. I like bal d'afrique. Gypsy water was nice but yeah definitely not lasting well at all. Hate Blanche.

Really want to try Alto Astral

It is so disappointing for the price ☹. Ive not tried many Byredos because I don't want to love them and then realise they perform like a fart in the wind 😂.

Why is it I always get loads of compliments on my cheap perfumes and never the spenny ones?! Been wearing Noted Aromas Kyoto all week for work, it is the Ariana Grande Cloud dupe and so many people have been sayin how nice I smell.

Do you think you spray more of them cause they are cheap?

I noticed the only time i ever got any compliments on my perfumes is when u sprayed way too much of them, like last time when i used way too many sprays of hibiscus mahajad which only really needs a couple. My theory is that the people who often get compliments are just oversprayers and for every person who compliments them there's someone else choking from the smell 🤣
