I have to say that The Perfume Shop, or at least ours, has great staff. If I go in and tell them what I'm looking for they're spot on with recommendations. I'm not sure where else you could get that?
Bought the bayliss and Harding cherry body spray at the weekend, it's fantastic, doesn't last particularly long but it was like 6 pound and smells delicious
Estée Lauder Youth Dew is insanely cheap in The Perfume Shop at the moment- half price at €35. I got it for my mother for Christmas last year and she adores it so I've picked up another. It's a lovely amber-heavy, classic but complex scent. Definitely more suited to the the older woman I would say. Insane projection and excellent staying power, it's actually brilliant value at full price IMO.

Mine are displayed in this Ikea cabinet, I’ve got an led light across the top so they are illuminated if I want. I also got the acrylic display stands so I can put brands together. I love it!

I"m really showing my age here,but can anyone remember Aqua Manda from the 70"s???I loved it,to me it was a deep spicy orange scent,and everyone wore it.Then it disappeared,and you cant get it anymore.They did reinvent it,still called Aqua Manda,but NOTHING like the original.Wish they would bring the original back,i have so many lovely memories,when i wore this!!!

Hi everyone and @HelloStereo my brown thomas order arrived yesterday 
nothing massively exciting but I thought it would be good to sample brands I've never tried.
The MFK are teeny tiny samples
I've loved apom, gentle fluidity gold and bacarat rouge. I thought grand soir was paticularly special. I'd love it on my husband but would definitely wear it myself.
I also wanted to try frederick malle of of course carnal flower
which i was certainly impressed with. I'm liked portrait of a lady also but thought it was a bit hyped up online. Really liked musc ravageur also. Definitely reminded of christmas and if you like cinnamon you'll love this.
Next I wanted to try phlur. These were the cutest I think 7ml bottles. Perfect for a little handbag. I liked them all but loved father figure the most and rose whip. Rose whip really reminded me of delina exclusif and I'm sure it is a hell of a lot cheaper to buy!

Do you think you will splurge on Carnal Flower or Angels Share now?I didn't realise Musc Ravageur smelt like cinnamon, I might have to try it. I agree with Portrait of a Lady, but I think it gets a lot of hype because it is quite distinctive (and strong) too.
