Hello,
haven't written here before and only found the thread recently, many of you have such lovely collections!
I used to have a nice smallish one myself, but used up a lot of it and fell out of habit of wearing perfume with Covid/exclusively working from home. While I'm still doing that I recently found my interest in perfumes coming back and spend the entire summer hunting for a nice summer scent (didn't find one though), Acqua di Gioia is a strong contender. Bit out of season right now though.
Anyway, I've Escentric Molecules 01 and was never really sure about it on me. It's "okay", but I tend to find it too much on me and it certainly doesn't have the magic effect of people hunting me down to ask after my perfume that other people report. I've had it for years now but never really wore it.
I also have the Nivea scent, which I like, but it's a "cozy" winter scent for me that also not really develops on skin, it stays more or less exactly like when you first spray it on. I recently thought that my "issue" with both scents is that they don't develop, especially with Molecule 01. Decided on a whim to try layering both scents to see what happens and

so much nicer projection of the Nivea scent! Somehow the Escentric Molecule, despite being quite strong to me, disappears into the background and gets out some different, lighter notes out of the Nivea perfume. Really like that discovery and have worn it multiple times now.
I really like La Vie Est Belle, but it's my MIL's signature scent, so I feel weird wearing it. In general, I love Lancome scents. I have Narciso Rodriguez For Her on my list, but need to try it again to see whether it makes me sneeze. I like "clean" scents, I love something that smells light and flowery and like freshly showered, however many scents like that go strong on the musk notes, which I don't love, they have a tendency to give me a headache.
