Nice collection, I love Diptyque. I keep mine in their original boxes which takes up so much space 🫣. I have a few that dont have their own box because I bought them from resellers and I just keep them in some storage boxes on a shelf that doesn't get sunlight.

Thank you! Diptyque Do Son is one of my favourite perfumes. I think I'm a big tuberose lover. Gucci Bloom is also lovely and similar and much more affordable. A lot of people were talking about Fleur de Peau on Reddit and I was really impressed also. Supposedly it's similar to Glossier You which I've never tried.

The Diptyque boxes are beautiful so I don't blame you keeping them what have you got and what's your favourite?

I blind bought Lady Million by paco rabbane on my flight home from Greece (I was depressed and it was 20% off) - I love it smells divine.
I got Jean Paul gaultier scandal as a gift last year which I’ve run out of but couldn’t find anywhere for a good price, would definitely get it again.
if anyone knows, is Fame by paco rabbane worth getting?

I have Do Son but the EDT version because it's cheaper haha. I also have Gucci Bloom which I like but prefer Do Son - it feels a bit softer and fresher to me. Fleur De Peau is nice too - I'm starting to get into skin scents and that one seems long lasting. I think Sonic Flower is meant to smell like Glossier You as well, but I haven't tried either of them.

Have you tired the Fleur De Peau EDT as well? I really like it and not sure which one I prefer now.

I have Do Son EDT, Eau Rose EDP, Eau Des Sens, Orpheon, L'Ombre dans L'eau and Eau Capitale by Diptyque. I want to add in Fleur De Peau and Ilio in there some time as well - maybe next summer when I've used some of these up haha.

@unfinishedsentenc if you could only keep say 6 of these which ones would you choose ?

Hmmmm I'd say:

• Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif (unfortunately my poor wallet )
• Mon Guerlain, it was my wedding scent!
• Elie Saab Le Parfum in White (I would have worn this on my wedding day if I hadn't worn Mon Guerlain. Lasts ages on me and is a good price!
• J'ador L'or. Treated myself to this last Christmas. I feel really elegant and grown up wearing this!
• Cerutti 1881 for the sheer nostalgia. It was one of my first perfumes. Don't wear it as much anymore but when I do it takes me back to my teens.
• YSL Libre EDP, I know everyone and their nan has this but it really is a lovely perfume. I'll reach for it at least once a week. Never tried the other variations.

Would you believe it's only been growing the last couple of years. Had Mon Guerlain for my wedding and wore Cerutti 1881 since my teens but my husband bought me La Vie Est Belle about 2 years ago and the collection started growing from there

Flowers and flames is
It's my fave of all the scents I have at the moment. I have had tons of compliments since wearing it.

Absolutely love this collection, mine isn’t quite as big but almost
I’m wondering which the 2 Burberry fragrances are in the pink bottles? I’ve never tried Burberry and im wondering if I am missing out?
Would you mind letting me know which ones they are and what they are like please?

Sure, the pink Burberry bottle is Her Elixir which smells like a strawberry milkshake to me which I love but some people might find it a bit sweet.

The clear pink bottle is Her EDP which I bought after the Elixir. Still sweet but not as sweet and very well liked by many online.

I sampled the Burberry Her EDT and I loved it also. I think it has a pear note and is quite different but smells like a lovely everyday scent.

The only other Burberry I have is Goddess. It's a lovely warm vanilla gourmand. I like wearing this in the autumn and winter months.

Also my husband wears Burberry Hero EDP and it smells divine. He has a 150ml bottle

I love this collection! There are a few of my faves in there I feel we may have similar perfume tastes so I've screenshot this and I'm going to use it to tick off some I've never used before.
I store mine on my dressing table. I like looking at the pretty bottles. I keep them out of direct sunlight though and if they are bigger bottles I leave them in their box in a drawer. I usually only have about 4 on the go at any one time and tend to have spring/summer & autumn/winter scenes

Boots are selling 50 ml Scandal le perfume for £50 at the mo if thats the one you get.

No I have not tried the EDTS but would love to. I think you can get a set of 3 10ml online? TBH I know I have a lot of perfumes but I do think buying anything in the Diptyque price range and up is a big commitment because of how expensive they are. I'm from Dublin and a couple of Christmasses ago I was in Space NK in Belfast for the first time and got to smell a couple of Diptyques and absolutely loved Do Son and my husband bought it kindly. It was my first ever really expensive perfume. I was like okay you're only coming out on special occasions but now I'm like duck it I'm wearing it to bed because I enjoy it and its still going strong haha. Fleur the Peau was bought in the duty free so I felt ok about that because it was around 20 quid cheaper

Really want to try this because of Do Son but the price!🫣

My all time favourites are Lancome. La Vie Est Belle is number one but I love the Idole too. They've done some really nice versions of those too. I like Daisy as a daytime scent but I tend to retire it in autumn/winter.
For a long time I would always wear YSL Mon Paris so I'm always fond of that. And at the moment I really like Tiffany Rose Gold. Not a perfume I think I would have tried but I got it as a tester and really liked it so I bought the full version.

Oh lovely is it very different to the original Libre?

I think it's very different. I love the original Libre. On me it swings more to a masculine type of scent the flowers and flames is more of a floral/feminine scent and I find it a bit more of a 'sexy' fragrance if that makes sense

You can get some gift sets from Diptyque that look really nice, even just the packaging is nicely thought out. It's such an investment though. I usually only buy them when SpaceNK is having a sale on, or from sites like AllBeauty when I have enough credit saved up (I think they have Carnal Flower on there for about £50 less than retail ). Sometimes I buy perfumes that are cheaper but similar (like Gucci Bloom as a back up to Do Son) but then I wonder if it's a false economy if I don't enjoy it quite as much.

Sometimes it's that one perfume that gets you hooked and then you end up chatting to people about other perfumes and your wishlist grows bigger and bigger . The more I browse and sample the more I want other perfumes. I am trying to use up some in my collection now as otherwise I won't be able to use everything I buy in my lifetime .

I've sampled Carnal Flower before. I did really like it but like you say, it's so expensive. It's very green and I got a lot of eucalyptus from it. I think my thumb was hovering over the "Buy now" button one evening after a few beers but I managed to talk myself out of it because I have Do Son and Gucci Bloom for the greener tuberose and then Rouge Malachite for the more resinous spicy tuberose . Probably a good decision as it saved myself a bit.

I love Fame and the men’s is really nice too, the bottles are really cute looking on the shelf too
