Very similar in terms of scent, but more complex than JM, and I actually think better performance. The paint brushes are a cool concept as well if she still has those out.
i got prada paradoxe for christmas and my boyfriend has complimented me on how nice i smell every time i've worn it. very pleased

I received the Victoria Beckham discovery set for Xmas and today decided I would try Portofino 97.
Very heavy on the bergamot . I didn’t dislike the scent but it’s not for me. One thing I will say is that I am impressed with the performance . I sprayed it at 10am this morning and I’m still getting a little whiff now.
So nice perfume but not for me ( although I am tempted to try again when it’s warmer as fragantica says it is a spring /summer perfume.)
Going to try suite 302 tomorrow .
Ps - I also tried Replica Beach Walk the other day as well. Lovely clean smell but I couldn’t smell it after about 10 minutes. I am sad about it as I really like it.

I actually went through my perfume samples the other day and I could smell the VB ones through the packaging. Need to use them soon and see if any are full size worthy.
Hi! I am not really a huge perfume user but I really want to start wearing it more often. I have NO idea where to start (just get overwhelmed when I’m in the shops, also I prefer to shop online which I realise is not ideal for buying perfume lol). Can anyone recommend a place to start? Eg a fragrance tester box or something similar?
I quite like Santal 33 and would prefer something which is unisex - floral/woody rather than spicy. I also bought Malin + Goetz dark rum after loving the shower gel but find it a bit too strong and spicy if that makes sense?

It's not a tester box per say, but I really love the gift set from Replica by Maison Margiela, you can trial the scents before you buy. There are quite a few more unisex scents!

You can also order individual samples from eg fragrance samples UK, small aromas etc. Just look for the notes you like and order a few.
Fragrantica website/app is good for looking for similar perfumes to ones you like and notes
Has anyone tried any of the Laura mercier perfumes?
I am wearing suite 302 today which is a tobacco/rose perfume. The tobacco is present but its not overwhelming and still picking up the rose note as well. Its also still going ( sprayed it around 6.45am ) .
I cant believe im about to say this but the VB perfumes are really well put together and have decent projection/lasting power. I woud consider buying a full size bottle of this. I really like it.
I am looking forward to trying the San Ysidro Drive next.
I find all of the Replica perfumes lack in longevity which is a shame as really nice scents.
