I know this is an older thread but hopefully still the right place! I was always a big fan of Yankee Candles but I have noticed a deterioration in the strength of their scents in recent years. Can anyone recommend strong smelling candles with a similar price to Yankee? Thanks!

I find the Wickford ones in Home Bargains have a good strong smell and are so cheap. I’ve had a few from that range.

Yankee have been on the decline scent wise for 10+ years. They are pretty much done in the USA.
Bath & Body Works are my number #1 go to but don't get them from Next as they are VERY overpriced. I use selling groups on Facebook - lots of trusted sellers there and they have much newer stock, as they are either cabin crew or importers who get all the latest stuff from the USA. The stock in Next is from the UAE (they have B&BW stores there) and usually at least a season or two out of date. Also, I definitely wouldn't trust some of the scent recommendations on this thread - they are totally basic witch, appealing to the masses choices. Mahogany Teakwood. Girl, please
Personally, I would avoid anything that costs less than a fiver from Home Bargains.
