Speaking of sleeping at night, I too have been wondering why they let Abbie nap. I understand wanting the break. But when my 3yo suddenly conks out, I'm panicking because I know he wont sleep that night.

Sure they get reprieve during the day, but then they gotta listen to the yelling, honking, and buzzing she does at night - and it probably feels louder too because there's less outside noise.

I have only ever seen animals get angry bc, something hurts. (Asa said she was mad bc her foot hurts.) I don't know, I just think that's another of her unnecessary behaviors.
Anger is a very common response to pain, even in NT individuals. There's a few different theories - they both involve some of the same neurotransmitters, originate from the same part of the brain, trigger a person's natural fight response (my personal theory), and so on. Unfortunately some studies suggest that anger can enhance pain which would naturally lead to more anger, then more pain, etc.

I think that's another one of those things that they are doing to try and force the ," typical teenager ", card. All teenagers have a BFF and so, they figure if they just tell everyone that Abigail and Summer are BFF's that, that counts as it actually being so. Summer knows better, she is just scared to death of Asa so, she would never challenge it. Summer is scared of Asa and the big lady just like Asa and the big lady are scared to death of Abigail. Asa just wants to be the most adored guy on planet earth. He wants to be known as the sweetest, most loved person that everyone just gushes over .

Yes it sure is and will become a vicious cycle. Abbie could have been more angry and frustrated at not being able to tell them what was wrong and then having all 3 attack her to try and see the foot. No wonder she gets irritated, I would too.

My husband says the same to me as well. I won't even tell you what he calls the Maass Squad but, he is always bitching at me for even "worrying " about what they are doing. He says," They are bullshit and you know that we don't pay attention to bullshit!!". I just really enjoy chatting with all you fine folks and I love watching these idiots fuck up on a daily basis.

She isn't...that is vlog fodder and is nonsense, nothing true about it, But the fans love that kind of thing. I believe Summer will regret this time in her life and wish she had not done this.

They think everyone loves Abbie, not just Summer. I dont know how to put it into words, but Asa especially acts as of Abbie is almost royalty, or like a religious/spiritual deity sent here to share her "gifts". I'm not trying to insult Abbie but lets get real. She is profoundly IDD. We just watched her eat dirt. I have no idea what they think is so special about her, or what we are supposed to be learning.

I wonder how they would have handled it if Abbie had a piece of glass in her foot or a very deep splinter. Would they have to wrap her in a blanket and hold her down? I'm not being snarky I'm genuinely curious on how you treat something like that with a person like her.

If she was mine, I would have given her a warm soapy bath and her night time sleeping pill, went to her room with calm music and tried to get it out. Sitting her at the snack isle and getting all over her was dead wrong..obviously.

I couldn't believe that with 4 people hovering over her they didnt hold her down long enough to check out her foot. So what if she would have honked, she does it anyway. I agree, it could have been more serious and they were all afraid to restrain her gor 30 seconds.Bunch of pussies.

I’m going to reach out to Jen. Id really like to know her thoughts on Abbie bring recorded all day everyday when she’s non verbal and can’t really consent to being filmed. I wonder if she believes that she can tell them no she doesn’t want to be filmed like the Maasss have led leghumpers to believe.

This would be an awesome approach. The only thing I would hold back on is giving her a dose of her Seroquel (if that's still what she's on) - messing around with the timing/amount can fuck a person up, even if it's just once. Some Tylenol though, would be fine and probably help with pain control as well as calming her down a bit.

I am strongly against 'burrito-ing' people with special needs in blankets. For some, it might be a comfort, but for others (myself and my daughter included) it can be extremely distressing and lead to a panic attack or meltdown. And with Abbie being non-verbal, I'd really try to avoid it at all costs. Same with holding her down.

Poor Jen will never answer that. She wants friends. Shes smart enough to know someone would make her comments public.

Welcome! Yes, completely agree with you. I think it’s definitely difficult for Isaiah as he’s having to eat the meals she prepares rather than a lunch at school etc which is no doubt healthier than at home! I think he also gets caught up with the Dunkin runs for coffee etc and probably wouldn’t go as much if not stuck at home and wanting a purpose to get out.

I did think it strange how A was talking about the painful foot in last night’s vlog. Pretty sure all he has drummed into us in the past is how Abbie doesn’t feel any pain or illness etc! This just shows that she clearly does!

I think it’s a fair question considering she has autism. Would be nice to get someone’s opinion with autism who is on a similar platform as Abbie.

I would be interested in the debate. She’s 40 and she can “exploit” herself all she wants, but what if she was 14 and non verbal....how would she feel then.

I know she was once in a facility that didn’t treat her great so she would probably stand up for the maasss any day. The fake loving family life is what gives the maasss an advantage in the exploiting argument, the leghumpers cant see anything wrong.

True, and I think Isaiah is just more vulnerable than Abbie to the overweight genes they received on both sides of the family. He's even kind of chubby in his childhood pics...it's one of the few areas Abbie just lucked out in. I did notice in the last vlog that he has gained quite a bit in a short amount of time. I never saw what the fans said about his looking just like Asa, but he's well on his way. I was watching a video from just two years ago, and it is amazing how much Isaiah has changed both physically and personality-wise. He no longer seems like the humble, genuine kid who just wanted to stay in the background. I never thought he was as perfect as the fans seemed to, but he was at least good at pretending back then.

She is no more special than anyone else’s child. To be honest I am sick to death of hearing how special she is. There is not a lot special about her when she shouts all the time, bites, kicks, smears shit everywhere. The leghumpers need a reality check as does Arsewipe.
She is not nice to be around and that’s my opinion.

I'd guess yes. There was a vlog where they say they used to wrap her in a towel to cut her hair. I know for my kids, getting out splinters or brushing teeth, sometimes I need to restrain them. I know that sounds mean and I dont like it, but we've needed dental surgery and a tooth pulled because my kids could not stand their teeth being brushed. I would love to know Abbie's tooth health. They barely touch her teeth.

Theres these brushes that clean your teeth with light, but I cant imagine that would help with plaque/ tartar.
