Everyone should leave a message on that page. Imagine deleting peoples comments because they don't agree with who they have on to speak about a topic they seem to know nothing about! Giving crap information about how to deal with MH.

Well see if she even bothers to do it. Or will she put it off like the book club or completely half a it like the race a couple of years ago where she took the Fitbit but didn’t promote it/even put in any effort on the day.

I am still pissed off about FitBit gate. Her excuse was that she was pregnant, it started to rain and Sienna was in the pram. There was women there heavily pregnant, disabled women, women going through cancer treatment etc doing it no issue. She could of least raffled off the FitBit (she already had one) and used the funds as a donation to BreastcancerIreland. Of course she didnt. She mentioned it once at the start (not even a grid post, but a crappy blurred story that disppears after 24hrs) and kept the FitBit herself. Sure the 100km this year she didnt even promote, raise money etc She just mentioned it on the last day and it was a cummilation of her daily steps for the month. All of us who did it raised money and did seperate walks, runs, cycles etc My group raised 5 grand

Shes all about herself

I'm all for more alternative therapies. I swore by acupuncture on both my pregnancies but this just seems .... opportunistic and predatory. Women and men at their most vulnerable and desperate.
I'd view acupuncture as a complimentary therapy. As on it works along side a medical approach. Any kind of talk therapy, even massage and reflexology and things like that I would view as wonderful tools to have WITH your medical treatment for whatever ails you.

I probably feel too strongly about this as I got utterly sucked in at anytime in my life that I was extremely vulnerable. I spent a fortune on guided meditations and sound baths and angle card readings etc etc etc. When what I needed was medical treatment. Those things are fine and please don't take me up as being anti-anything-spiritual. I'm not. But I strongly feel that many of those service providers (not all) extort money from vulnerable people.

What Grace is doing and what Jen pushes are all lovely treats. But I'm afraid they're gonna make people who are already struggling, feel even worse in the long term.

I’m really disheartened by grace lately. She got too comfortable doing nothing and having Chris earn a few bob. Now that he is out of work, she’s scrambling to do anything to get numbers back up but it’s much too little, far too late. The lack of accountability is really frustrating. Lots of us have started diets, taken up hobbies, etc. and not followed through. There’s no shame in that. Just some communication would be nice, especially when it comes to charity events or fitness plans. If the shoe was on the other foot and Grace was invited to an event only for her to show up and it be cancelled with no explanation or communication, she would be fuming. Yet that’s exactly what she’s done with several charity events, meal plans, book club, to name but a few.
Also, she’s right when she says she doesn’t have to #gift. ASAI do not have legislation for gifting. There is no obligation to #gift. Brands often gift things in the HOPE for some exposure. A close friend of mine gifted a lot of art work to different public faces. All of them accepted the work but only one showed it on her page. I make this point because if she’s not obliged to show gifts, I often wonder the truth of how much she has ACTUALLY been gifted. Like, what’s not being shown on camera. Food for thought.

Its her attitude I find the worst. The way shes like I PAID FOR THIS!! And you just know its killing her to say it. But she has to because, as much as she says she is, she isnt transparent. I know how it all works and I have no issues with gifting (to a certain degree) but if youre as transparent as you say then youll have no issue hashtagging it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think Grace could really do with reading some of the stories from women here who have experienced real hardship and tough times but who still get up and face the day. Take on the mundane tasks of everyday life like housework etc and the demands of looking after small children while coping with real problems. She might realise how good she has it, enormous amount of childcare from family, rarley cooks meals , plenty of breaks , ability to take to bed when ever she feels like it. She seems spoilt and cannot function with the boring aspects of everyday life.

Exactly, this is spot on! my acupuncturist works with doctors and when we were having trouble conceiving and id had a loss, she referred me to a trusted clinic.
I totally understand people might need different things but this feels very off, very exploitative. Especially at 70 bloody euro. Can you even claim this kind of thing back on health insurance?

And looking at grace, jen clearly hasn't been able to help her deal or let go so what can she do for grieving families??
