that’s no way to win a wdc. you shouldn’t have to be randomly told mid interview, or to be running back and forth in the drivers’ room saying “am i? people keep telling me, but i’m not” and then being made to sit in a velvet corner of isolation on your own

should have been at austin.

I think he deosn't mind gettibg the news in a way he did because he just loves racing for the racing part and is so casual about other stuff, but I still think they should have waited until Sharls penalty is sorted out with the interviews and announcements

But I want to thank you magnificent lot for re-igniting the fun I used to have on tattle. I lost that sense of fun on the other thread (no shade to anyone) but I have loved this morning.

Well, that was quite the ride guys! Last time Max won his WDC I had a bottle of Moet chilling in the fridge and we made a whole day of it...this time I'm sitting on the sofa with a hot water bottle and a blanket round me in pjs . What a different season eh?

Imagine if the FIA decided to create this "full points aren't fully awarded only if it is a red flag" only to distract from the tractor controversy with Max tittle.... Because how is it possible that no driver, no team principal and no journalist know about this.

*To be clear, I don't think that this is what happened i just find it funny

this is excellent advice. just don’t do it.

or at least skip to the drivers interviews at the end of the race so you can enjoy some peak level awkwardness that eventually involves max sitting alone on a velvet throne.

Last Time he won I was drunk, and I feel like I've just stopped crying after Kimis crash. They I was furious about it all.

Now I'm casually laying on my sofa, not even sure what's happening and I'm just like "meh, what actually happened"
There hasn't been any doubt lately that he'll win, so I'm not mad about it. But this has just been confusing

I saw a clip of a bleeping TRACTOR on track and Pierre narrowly missing it… and a load of crappy comments saying he’s at fault. DO I WANT TO WATCH?!

I didn't get up early either and was gonna watch the replay at 9.30am. Put the TV on and quickly realise they're doing the post race analysis. Christian was giving it "yeah yeah Max has just excelled this year and that's why he's won his second world championship..."

Well. OK. I'm gonna go make croissants for breakfast
