honestly I don't get why she doesn't do videos on corporate law and her daily routine as a young lawyer???? I'm not a law student but I'd still find it interesting to get some insights into how a huge corporate law firm like Linklater operates, especially since it has firms all over the world. I'm sure there'd be a way to talk about her daily life at work without disclosing any confidential information. also when she posted about showing business wear outfits on IGTV I was like??? why not make a youtube video out of it?? it's so annoying cause I feel like her channel has so much potential but she just doesn't make us of it - every video since her break has been disappointing imo

I know this isn’t a page about her girlfriend: but eve, maybe don’t post a picture of someone clearly going against the rules of travel on tfl. When there is a literal sign behind her saying to wear a mask. And infection rates are rapidly increasing.
Eve, go ask your girlfriend for some outfit tips. The picture is an affront. Wearing a mask is the least one can do during a pandemic.
I guess someone got tired of pretending they were affected in any way by the pandemic ..... But then in the next ad read video she'll include a blurb about how the pandemic was "such a dark time" for her ~
I wish Eve and her gf nothing but the best, but gosh did she get worse since they got together. I don't if it is bc she started getting quite a high salary / the gf has been living a pretty privileged life and Eve needed to adapt to her lifestyle or whatever but it makes me sad. I feel like I am watching a parody of her old self.

remember when the only problematic thing about eve was her obsession with coffee and thinking it is a personality trait. good times
Controversial but
Thing is... I don't think I would be that mad at her for saying that the pandemic/lockdown wasn't overall horrible. Breaking rules is another thing obviously, but then that's just sort of realistic. I know plenty of people who broke rules and their pandemic wasn't as bad as it could have been
I think trying to fit yourself into the 'dark time' pandemic that many people genuinely experienced is just not very nice tbh
Oh absolutely! I personally was extremely lucky and didn't get too much affected by the pandemic (except for having to respect lockdowns & social distancing rules) so I can't fault anyone for having had the same experience. We didn't choose our circumstances, but we can choose to be honest about them.
As far as we know though, Eve was also one of the lucky ones, especially considering she was actively looking for, and got in a relationship during a pandemic + travelled multiple times, both in England and abroad. So for her to say that it was "such a hard time" seems quite tone-deaf, especially since she is saying it to her public audience. Everybody can feel down, even in the best of circumstances, but there is a difference between talking about it to your close circle / a therapist and writing about it online for everyone to see. I don't know if she's doing it to seem ~ relatable ~ but it comes across as the opposite lmao.
Just to add, I think it also comes off as really pretentious. Her "dark time" was probably not being able to go to the office, or go clubbing, or drink in bars which is absolutely fine. I know I missed those things too, but on the whole she was incredibly lucky. She retained her job, she managed to get into a relationship, she was able to visit family. I hate the phrase "some people have it worse" but for her to just slap the term "dark time" on her situation without any context just sounds so spoilt to me
